I took this shot at my girlfriends house in Wales, one of my favourite things at this time of year is a well dressed dining table, it gets me right into the spirit of things, as you can see my girlfriend Sandy did a fantastic Job.

Acho que, de todos nossos gatos, Mikita é a menos fotografada. Talvez por ser mais velha e reservada do que os filhotes; ou talvez por ter as pernas tão curtas que ela não consegue alcançar muitos dos lugares em que seus filhotes se metem, ela raramente atrai a atenção da câmera. Hoje foi uma exceção - ela resolveu subir na mesa de jantar e usar nosso prato de sushi como uma cama.

It's been a while since I posted a photo of the cats to Flickr® from Yahoo!®.
Mikita is probably the least photographed of our cats. Maybe it's because she, along with Pim, is older and more reserved than the others, or perhaps it's because of her short legs which means that she's unable to reach some of the places the other cats get into, but her antics rarely attract the attention of my camera. Today, however, was a bit of an exception - she decided to climb onto the dining table and make what looks like a very comfortable bed out of our sushi plate.

It was accidental to place this on the table and of course after it was so nicely combined with the bird fabric of the dining chairs, it became a permanent inhabitant.

i don't really use this book but it is a great reference to flip through and is so big to fit on my kitchen shelf. plus, i love how pretty it looks on the table in it's green & yellow cover & I wont i signed copy in a raffle :P
GONE - We will probably give a discount to the customer who buys both this incredible table AND the cinema seating to serve as one side of the ten-seater (12, really.) Does it get any better than this?

And they'll love your big, beautiful industrial table.

The pieces of reclaimed western maple, from the same tree, are placed together; leaving a small gap between each piece. Celebrating each slab in it's own right.

This table is similar to some we've had before, but quite different, and improved, we feel. The two "A" shapes at the base are curved, and a kind of spring-like curve goes down the table the long way as well. 150x80x76cm
In January 2015 African Parks who manage Zakouma National Park opened Camp Nomade a high end mobile safari camp to bring more international tourists to Zakouma and generate much needed revenue for the park’s upkeep. Zakouma has probably the shortest tourist season of almost any national park in Africa; the park is very flat and for most of the wet season between May and November is almost completely underwater making it impossible to operate in the park. Camp Nomade opens in late December once the floodwaters have receded and the park has dried out enough and then closes again in early April. The camp which can accommodate 6-10 guests is designed to be fully mobile so that it can be set up close to wherever the best game viewing is at the time. Guests will normally stay for 1 week and in the middle of their stay will be transferred for a single night to the park’s only lodge Campement de Tinga or to a smaller fly camp so that Camp Nomade can be moved to a new location. Despite only being able to operate for a very short time the camp should generate sufficient revenue to cover 20% of the running costs of Zakouma national park.
For lunch at Camp Nomade the dining table is placed inside the main tent being open on all sides there's plenty of air flow keeping the tent nice and cool. At breakfast and dinner times the table is moved outside into the open, so that guests can dine under the stars.
This is a new version of a table we've made here at Like That One a number of times. Here we've used an old Northern pinewood top from China and set it atop two local Singaporean sewing machine bases. This is one-of-a-kind!

Our dining room! Handmade solid wood table and faux bamboo chairs. The upholstered captain chairs are from Restoration Hardware. The chandelier was an ebay find and it looks brand new with two coats of glossy white paint!
We have taken an old elmwood door and set it atop four wooden pencil legs, so that it now combines rustic chic with a nod towards classic mid-century style. It really is the best of both worlds. 180x89cm, height 76cm

GONE - Amazing and unusual 1960s modern table from Denmark, all teak. The central legs have a pleasant, cartoon-bone look! When open the table can seat four in comfort, six when it's family.

On this picture the halogen light over the table and the daylight from the windows are complemented with the light from led lamps above the counter top.

Rarely do we get a chance to showcase a dining table like this, that combines beautiful old wood with excellent craftsmanship, yielding a show-stopping piece. This table seats 8-10 people in style.

I made an executive decision and decided the old clawfoot table would likely be better served as being a dining room sideboard table as I never had one of those before but could see the basic utility of having an auxiliary table there for putting out a more elegant spread of side dishes for when I entertain guests...which isn't too often these days, but maybe that's all about to change for the better. We all need that, right? :)

Hallelujah, I'm so excited about my new dining table! I've been looking for a reasonably-priced vintage modern pedestal table for ages. This one is probably a knock-off of Herman Miller's Eames and Nelson tables (there are no identifying marks). I found it at Odana Antiques in Madison, and I'll pick it up this weekend! Now I just need to find chairs...
