RCL Spectrum of the Seas

And the elusive common blue damselfly. Elusive because I can never catch them. Almost had it entirely in focus. Maybe next time. He sat for ages eating a hornet or hoverfly or some such. If you can view large do so the hairs and 'spines' on the legs are creepy.

Thank you to all sponsors, restaurants, and competitors of our 2013 Golf & Dine. It was held April 17, at Indian Bayou Golf Club.

Coming home from work one day I pulled up on Totney bridge over the North Drain on Tealham Moor near Westham on the Somerset Levels to watch this family of Mute Swans that were feeding on water weeds. Four cygnets and a great mum and dad who were showing their offspring what delights there were to be had amongst the yellow flag plants.

We loved the live music in the Piazza de San Marco. It was such a long day that as we entered the Piazza my 4 year old screamed "I am not going in one more piazza!" At least we knew he learned the word that day!

At Sitio Remedios, a table is set for dinner.

ODC-2. Individual. This would be my individual dining choice. However, in Iowa - al fresco dining is not always an option!

A fairly restrained dining room at Ham House.

Gives you shivers to stand in this room - that is the original table around which the Bronte sisters sat and wrote. The costumes on display are those used in the recent dramatisation of the sisters lives.

Sam a week and a half ago after his surgery to get a few teeth pulled and a cyst in his back removed. He was in pain and the other cats didn't fully recognize him yet, Boo in particular hissed at him, so we let him hide in the cabinets as much as he wanted and even let him eat in there. Thankfully as the sedatives wore off the little fellow's appetite returned, sore mouth and all.

This is how my dining table looks early in the morning when I'm getting ready to leave for college.

A cup of milk, a little cashews, almonds, water bottle, and a little water to drink after having the milk - and I'm ready for day.

This is a train!

Oddly, I didn't document any description of what car this is, so I don't know the time period or anything else about it. Something to find out in the next visit...
