Coldplay - All I Can Think About Is You

So, every thing started at the moment I saw the original photograph of those beautiful hydrangeas taken by my dear friend Richard Eshelby.

So, the temptaion of painting the whole scenery from scratch in Painter was irresistible, but I didn't know what I was getting myself into. The whole digital painting took me 2 months to finish, yet it wasn't enough. I had to make e composition in Ps with that painting. So, this is the result. And, you can see the amazing original photograph in the link below.

The background is the mixture of several textures, and the hydrangeas hanging out from the frame are png images from google.

No AI is used in this image.

The bobcat (Lynx rufus), also known as the red lynx, is a medium-sized cat native to North America. The small tufts on a bobcat's ears are difficult to spot at even moderate distance. The bobcat is crepuscular, and is active mostly during twilight.

Remembering summer... and wishing it would hurry up and BE here, at least spring ! I hope you like my painting of this little sprig I pulled up from between our patio paving :) Yes, from the archives, but I painted it because I like it and it seems appropriate for this time in my and my family's lives.

I used Topaz Impression 2 for this effect. A Georgia O'Keefe setting at ... I can't remember how much opacity but a fine circular brush setting.

It's time to say good-bye to summer. I apologize to all of my Flickr friends for being on and off during the summer. I have missed viewing all of your wonderful images. School starts next week - need I say more :)

Memorial Day Remembrance Weekend (US)

I put that title because the cemeteries and graveyards are very quiet, there are no groups of people. I am usually alone when I have visited this place. I like to see the old graves in this cemetery, some are over 160 years old. There is an atmosphere of peace, but I would not dare to go alone at night. It is a pity that it is not well maintained, as you can see from the tall grass.
