As the sun rises, Doc is out tackling winter chores. Snow removal is one job that never ends - and a roof rake will rip your guts out in a heartbeat. He later switched to a ladder and shovel to complete the job. We are rooting for an early spring.
Three representations of street art (big fan) found on the streets of Kensington Market in Toronto, Canada. The thought of combining them into a single image with a matching psychedelic look stemmed from my inability to consider posting snap shots.
Inspired by yet another gray drizzly day in the land of rain and glassy towers full of office cubicle farms.
More manipulation fun from the downtown Seattle Public Library's exterior of masterfully meshed matrices.
Yesterday, I went to a synchronized swimming competition for young people ranging in age from ten to about fourteen. I was amazed at how skilled they were at such a young age. I noticed that oftentimes, even their facial expressions were coordinated. I was sitting with their parents and you should of heard them cheer their kids on.

A heat wave has been plaquing our whole country - so I thought I'd cool everyone down with a wintery slide.

Few are willing to speak of the moonless night when gargoyles came to life swarming the city in a frenzy of blood-lust devouring the living and clashing in fearsome battles with each other. To be human and survive the night meant staying indoors and out of sight.

Taking a tip from our very busy squirrels - we have been just as busy putting in our winters provisions. I spent a couple of hours this morning washing, and cutting up bags of peppers. Once cut in small pieces, I place them on a parchment lined cookie sheet and freeze them. Then I remove them from the sheet to plastic freezer bags. They will not stick together, and I can grab a handful to add to casseroles or breakfast omelet's.
I am squeezing Flickr in between my preparations for winter. Once everything is properly stored, I will be able to view and comment once again.

I've had this bush in my garden for 35 years, and it's been pruned every year and still blooms beautifully every spring. I felt like painting it - so here it is !
Beware... if you have a dog, please don't let him or her eat the berries. They're edible for birds but NOT for dogs. They may suffer acute kidney failure if they eat them. In fact, any berries, of any sort are dangerous for dogs, including dried fruit. Oh, and remembering it's Easter - chocolate is poisonous to dogs too !
