This was not supposed to be my drawing today. I had another one almost finished, that I was very happy with, of another character and did I save my progress? NO I DID NOT. Now it's gone forever.
I did the denial thing and tried to recover it, but no. So here is anger.
Each part was separately drawn in ProCreate except for the feather photos. All was combined in iColorama because of its superb ability for blending. I then used various blend modes to add colored backgrounds that the drawings & neutral elements took on to add color. Parts of my watercolor textures were added along with different iColorama brush stampings, some from my added .abr files.

More of Sophie the octopus, and John's morning hair. Which you can only tell is different from his usual hair by the few extra flyaways. Also, unicorn mug.

What an absolutely beautiful and complex woman 😭:). Jisoo's 'malleable' facial geometry allows her to look like other celebrities 😭:) - like I mentioned years ago, she can look like Audrey Hepburn 😭:), then recently Jennifer Lawrence 😭:) and Hermione Granger (sorry Emma 😭:) ) and now Madonna 😭:). I had this idea for a while, a short light blonde hair for Jisoo :). The drawing incorporates high key or high contrast lighting. I also chose a monotone sepia look, rather than colouring or painting it. Will work on the main drawing on the soonest :). Thanks for looking. Drawn using ps cc, cintiq24hd. Well. I hope this sort of makes sense.
I feel like if I spent more time o these I could have done this page more justice, but since I am trying to do this in my daily sketch time, this is it.

This is a photo of a mosaic drawing done at a family gathering a number of years ago. I snapped a picture of the 6 x 7 ft. mosaic with my iPhone and processed it a bit on the phone.
So yesterday's date was wrong :B
I struggled with this one...I had it all planned out and pretty much redrew most of it and then hit the background stage and died a horrible death. This is supposed to be a fast drawing anyway.
So, not that you can tell, but there is actually background to this backgrounded picture. He's following that ball of light into the sub sub sub basement of a ruined building in search of magical items....either to keep and use for who-knows-what, or to sell because he's broke and needs money for things like food. And food. Mostly food.
This is actually the second time I've drawn this, believe it or not.
