Apologies for not sharing this drawing before I went on a long holiday / social media detox for about 3 weeks 😭:) - I was in a hurry to go on a motorcycle road trip, lol. Yes, this drawing was completed 3 weeks ago :). I had this idea since 5 months ago & is currently the most challenging drawing project I undertaken but for Jennie, no worries :). I always wanted to draw Kuma 😭 for a long time and this was a chance to include him in a drawing :). What made it difficult is listening to the Universe as to what needs to be in the drawing, haha and there are so many objects and moving parts on this project that if I get distracted, it can get messy. The white liquid in the bath tub is just milk, lol, not that kind of liquid, haha 😭:). Drawing dimensions are 10,000x9310 @ 300dpi and target print is A0, yes that big :). Next drawing project is for Lisa (Yay😭) but I could do a smaller drawing for Rose' and Jisoo since it's freaking lockdown again here for 7 days 😭:). Thanks for looking. Both Jisoo and Rose' are the amazing vocalists and dancers of the hot Kpop group Blackpink. :) The backdrop drawn is Odaiba, Tokyo Bay and Tokyo Rainbow Bridge, which I visited a few times and miss it badly, lol. My own illustrations.
About the images.
This is my own artwork of the Egyptian goddess called Ma’at.
This was my first serious Vector based artwork done using CorelDRAW (either version 3 or 4) graphic design software on Windows 98 back in approximately around c1998 to c2000.
I started by doing a pencil sketching on paper, then tidy up by turning it into a proper line drawing. When it was done, I used a marker pen and drew over the pencil lines.
After that, I scanned the artwork to my computer, using a flatbed scanner. That was the reason for using the marker pen, to ensure the lines shows up on screen.
The scanned image was saved as a .BMP file and it was imported into CorelDRAW as a background layer.
I placed a new layer on top of the background, and traced the original pencil drawing, the reason for using marker pen was to ensure the lines shows clearly on the screen.
However at that time, I was using a mouse to do that drawing, as I did not buy a pen tablet until so many years later. The work took days. Likely to be couple of hours per day, over a matter of many days, until the outline was completed, then I coloured it in.

This one was done using Adobe Illustrator Draw app on 6th generation Apple iPad running on iOS 11, and was done using the first generation Apple Pencil.
Unlike the first one (M07-01), I did not do any pencil sketching on paper, as I can do rough sketching on a layer in the app. Simply sketch out the outlines, then add another layer on top of it, and try to draw tidy lines.
When that was done, I added another layer, this time below the outlines, and coloured it in. Not sure how long it took, likely to be an hour per day, over a matter of few days.
The finished illustration was then exported to my desktop Adobe Photoshop, and saved as file.
About the subject of Ma’at.
Ma’at can be spelt in various different forms, including Maat, Mayet, Maet, and Maut among few other possible variations.
Ma’at was one of the many Egyptian goddesses during the Ancient Egypt days.
Records of Ma’at can be found dating back as early as the Old Kingdom, which is c 2700 to c 2100 BCE.
Ma’at is considered to be the goddess of truth, order, law, and justice.
In the Ancient Egypt mythology, it was said that when Egyptians dies, they would meet Ma’at in the Underworld. Legend had it that Ma’at would weigh the hearts of the decedents against her feather to judge their souls.
If the heart is lighter or equals in weight to her feather, the decedent would be allowed to go on to the Afterlife, but if the heart was heavier, they would stay in the Underworld.
She can be seen with or without the wings, and always with an ostrich feather tucked into headband.
She is said to be the daughter of Ra, whom is the god of sun.

My lovely friend from gorgeous Saint Petersburg made a great photo of my postcard.
I lived in Saint Petersburg before I moved to Germany. When I lived there I used to discover something new about the city every day. There are a lot of things to see and to do.
However the most spectacular thing happens right now - white nights! The sun sets up only for a short period of time, the city stays awake for almost 24 hours a day, the vibrating crowds don’t disappear from the streets and multiple events are held around the city!
Rose' is one of the amazing singers and dancers from the hot Kpop group Blackpink and now she has a portal so she can travel anywhere she wants. :) Darker than Black is a classic cult anime series. This drawing is inspired by the works of the Japanese manga artist, Yuji Iwahara. For years I was looking for a human face to draw for Yin and beautiful Rose' fits perfectly. :-) Drawn using ps cc, cintiq 24hd. Next drawing will still be Rose' :-) and next will be Lisa as... Going back to drawing:
Tatiana Wisla and Alister Agrew are the ace pilots on the Japanese anime series, Last Exile. An idea I had a while ago, where I pondered, what if both pilots and Dio landed on an isolated town of Shirakawago in Japan, just to buy some drinks on a ubiquitous Japanese vending machine. :D There are two sources of light in the drawing, sunset on the right and a high intensity fluorescent light on the left, which normally gives out a greenish tint if shot in daylight film. :) Vending machine brands are fictitious and are something I made up, i.e. Edo Cola. :)

So, apparently I need to share my drawings again after a long pause 😭:). Back in late Feb this year I got a new job and this required full concentration and commitment and I just lost touch in any form of social media since then and I have to let go of certain things in life for a while, if you know what I mean :). But my past started to catch up with me again and life just tapped me in my shoulder and said "buddy, you gotta go back to drawing again" 😭:). So here I am. I've had some free time lately and started to grind again with Lisa's drawing in every opportunity that I had, considering I started this drawing back in January 😭. I have to admit, I have sort of forgotten how to post in Insta and how their formatting works, it's like I'm a noob again :).
Ok, for this drawing, Lisa is casually enjoying ice skating on a different universe 😭 and she passed by me and smiled but she didn't even bother to say Hello to me 😭:). What a lonely world for me, even in a different universe :). So what's different in this drawing? I used 'organic' brushes from Grut brushes :). You have to buy it tho and I also used a new colour sampling tool which is very handy for creating new lighting and colour for subjects, again you have to buy it at Adobe, it's only $5 :). Other than that lots of detailing involved. Next drawing is either Jisoo or Jennie :). Jennie's drawing idea is more fun tho 😭:). Thanks for looking. Drawn using ps cc/cintiq32pro.
