Participants came from vastly different countries in terms of culture, level of development, and political environment. Yet they shared many of the same challenges, and more importantly, they shared a commitment to the role libraries play in their communities.
Mayor Bill de Blasio and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban development Secretary Julian Castro in partnership with T-Mobile announced that 5,000 families in Bronx Public Housing will receive free tablets and internet service at the BronxWorks Betances Cornerstone Community Center in the Bronx on Friday, December 16th, 2016. Mr.Gowda is one of 20 freelance photographers around GlassHouse in Lalbagh, Bangalore, India. I have seen him around this location over 5 years now. Most of these guys switched from film based photography into polaroids, for couple years now. Recently I noticed most of them switched to Digital camera (prosumer and professional) and Photo Printer !!!! For 50 bucks (INR) you get an instant picture and of course, they have mastered the art of taking multiple pictures and letting customer choose the prints !!!
