- power 130 bhp / 5.800 rpm
- triple Solex 30 JF carburettors
- 4 speed manual gearbox (3 and 4 synchronized)
- curb weight 780 kg
- top speed 220 km/h
- For the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1939 BMW let build the Milan coachbuilder Touring a Coupé on a 328 chassis with aluminum body in Touring's patented "Superleggera" construction (super light).
- A year later at the 1940 Mille Miglia, BMW also used these racing cars.
- This Touring Coupé won the Mille Miglia[6][9] with an average speed of 166.7 km/h (103.6 mph).
