The family that...no, that's not it.

You can pick your friends, but you can't...no...

Nevermind.

More than 2.1 billion people live in deserts and dry lands, which make up at least 40 percent of Earth’s land surface. Climate change intensifies the likelihood and rate that dry lands are subject to desertification, which further reduces the availability of water and degrades the land quality and ecosystem. In light of these challenges, this panel will look at opportunities for sustainable water access and management tools for desert and dryland communities. From rooftop water harvesting to drip irrigation, this conversation will focus on regional efforts, individual projects, and indigenous peoples’ involvement in addressing water scarcity, and will explore how students can launch their own impactful projects and products in this field.

Passing buy and noticed

Our niece J-Mo rowing in the state championships in Sarasota today! The Freshman 4 girls team from Episcopal HS in Jacksonville Rocked the Regatta! We had a great time watching you girls tear it up!! You were so in it to win it, and it was really cool to hear the announcer and crowd rooting for you too!

We love you so much J-Mo! You are an awesome humanoid, and you make Uncle Derrick and I so proud! I sent a few photos to your P’s, and I’ll get all of them to you shortly. In the meantime, hope you like this one!

I like this shot because I think it captures the action, J-Mo's intensity, and I actually love the noise of the water droplets. They almost look like snow. I think they add to the action, and I know they add to my enjoyment of the moment. =o)

Hugs and thanks for viewing! =o)
