On October 26, 80 Jews and Arabs journeyed together from Jerusalem and around Israel to Acco for a day of peacebuilding. Joining were Palestinians from East Jerusalem, Nablus, Ramallah, Bethlehem and Hebron. Together- we studied Jewish and Muslim texts, enjoyed music, shared a meal, welcomed the Chief Rabbis of Acco and Tsfat, and prayed for peace in the Al-Jazzar mosque and on Hof HaCarmel beach, Haifa.

I am working with a few facebook friends on a photo project in which we have weekly theme and we each submit our perspective of the word and form a quadtych. This week's word was commitment. I love how they turned out!

Grand Palace, Bangkok
This is a part of my ongoing personal project where well known places of Bangkok are photographed in reflective surfaces of their surroundings.
As we walked up to the lobby at Old Key West, we saw the welcoming sight of a decorated tree behind the doors to the lobby. It's so good to be back again (and for ten days too).Please feel free to leave a comment.

After changes on the main route, they all get high speed tests and I mean high speed. My wife's comment is "I can't bare to watch" LOL
Taken on a recent trip to Holy Island (50 miles south of Edinburgh on the A1).
Lindisfarne Castle is a beautiful place to be.

We were at the Fair in Pueblo and they had a fishing area where you could catch your own trout in a big tank...It was funny since NO one was catching any and yet they was SO many fish. VERY SMART little critters!
On December 21st & 22nd, I took around 1,400 photos in Cleveland, TN at the Hiwassee Wildlife Refuge. It was very, very cold, (single digits) and windy, but well worth it!
And after a few days of work, I've filtered down the photos to 25. This was not an easy task, as there were lots of great photos, but I feel it's better to share the best, rather than hundreds of "average" photos.
Due to the content of these photos, I highly recommend you view the entire set as a slideshow. This way you can see the intricate details in each photo.
I took this shot during the eclipse on 20.3.15, but the eclipse did not show.
Its a beautiful building, an old prestigious High School, now converted into flats. (What does this say about education in Scotland?).
Came out well as a B/W, with good clouds.
There is a partial eclipse up there somewhere, but my Canon 550D could not capture it, regardless of the filters used.
I had just put the dog out when I noticed that the sun was setting. I sat down on the steps to enjoy this and thought about how intense the colors were. So, not wanting to forget this moment I took a picture...please over look the dieing tomato plant...I have a BLACK thumb but still tried to grow something this year!
Staying at Boardwalk for a few days while we enjoy the Food & Wine festival in EPCOT. Then we move to our home resort of Old Key West.
Just walking around expo I got this view from these trees and the sky.. I like the colour and that sky..
