Peter Levitov plays a didgeridoo, an Aboriginal Australian wind instrument, against the body of Dan Kahn as Kahn relaxes at the Downtown Community Plaza in Gainesville Wednesday afternoon. Levitov said he uses the didgeridoo to bring awareness and balance to the body. He will be playing the didgeridoo at an "Explorations Through Sound" event at the Sacred Earth Center in Gainesville on Saturday from 5-8 p.m.

On Monday, June 21, 2010, Darrren Liebman of Didgeridoo Down Under shared stories about Australia and played several didgeridoos for the crowd.

He had their rapt attention for a full hour!

I spent an evening catching up with a couple of old friends the other day. Good coffee and good conversation in my firiend Bjørn Erik's studio "ArtBeat".

Please visit his site if you're looking for a professional recording studio in a calm and creative environment.

I love the shadows in this one, and also the wacky light in the corner of the room.

Didgeridoos Australia

I made this 'gourd-i-doo' out of 2 snake gourds. It was a big project. The DIY network wanted to feature it on a show until they figured out how complicated and time consuming it was.
