A Norwegian dictionary (Norsk Ordbok) with definitions in Norwegian, not English. Emphasis is on the title Norsk Ordbok. Illustrert (Illustrated) as was the German one. The contents are strict and functional - which the cover sort of reflects - no frills. Very little color - A little boring. I couldn't find anything in it relative to the intent of the figure. Bokmål is one of the two official languages of Norway, Nynorsk or New Norwegian is the other. Riksmål is the old name for bokmål so the figure could be indicating a tying together of one of the two languages. Perhaps unraveling the maze inherent in any language.
