Yay craft materials and books! I really needed a dictionary since mine are being shipped. I was so happy to get this today. :D
Also included is a German novel for when I can read better.
Craft materials include fabrics, rolls of patterned tape, gift cards, tags and of course, the baskets too! A purple crochet brooch isn't pictured but I love it too.
Thank you Juanita! It's a great welcome package. :D

This is zentangle inspired art. A word to the wise, octopi are not as easy to tangle as I thought they would be. It took over 4 hours of tweaking, erasing and re-tweaking with a pencil before I was happy enough to put pen to paper. But I am relatively pleased with the overall result.
A striking red tanagra bird print. This bird print pops on this vintage dictionary print. All my prints are authentic dictionary book pages and printed on a Dell laser printer.
I think... It looks to be based on the number of strokes per character, which leads me to believe this is a character dictionary. Found this in the School Musuem in Locke (on a piano, of all places).
Thursday 4 February 2010: Recursion
No time to Blip today...unlike yesterday where I managed to squeeze in time to stop for a sunrise blip on the way to work. Finally got home from work to face the stark reality that I didn't have my Blip for the day...PANIC!!
Surely I couldn't fail after 163 days of Blipping without missing a single day??
Then my son (inadvertently) came to my rescue, he had got it into his head that the word Dictionary wouldn't actually appear in a Dictionary so he just had to look it up....and I just HAD to Blip him doing it. Another recursive Blip.
That's what I love about this blipping addiction...no matter what you can find something to Blip!!

A day stuck inside because it is sadly too cold to go out and build my man of snow, perhaps tomorrow. So instead I stole TeTe's hat to keep warm (I knit it after all) and went to town knitting and watching the new episode of Downton Abbey. Now I'm stuck on a knitting conundrum that I refuse to let get the better of me. Multi-tasking at its finest because I'm also on Etsy researching my future.
