Pascualina is a diary, named after the principal character of it, Pascualina, created by Chilean Paulina Mónkeberg, since 1990.
Its first appearances were in dark colours, in allusion to the witch theme of the diary. The main colours were purple and black, and the pages were decorated with spider webs and freaky skulls. Over the years, it became more colourful, but keeping the witch theme background.

i am struggling with this .
this one entry a day .
except for when i’ve had wine,
or indeed drinks, or both,
like tonight .
i think we both lost count of the
glasses by now .
and we never had eachother
to count on.
i tell anaïs i need to go to the toilet,
she gives me a ’you are excused’ ;
words dragging along one-third of
a bollinger jeroboam .
stubborn, i am . refuse ’ladies room’.
stubborn she is . denies all simple affirmatives .
a yes is an upbraided underbrush .
a no is just a no
always wearing ambush .
i bring my glass
and feel suspended above the stone floor
every other metre could shatter crystal glass .
why are there broken clocks on the walls?
i always wonder . more now.
as i gain focus,
my face in the mirror does not know me,
i fumble to grab a swimming suggestion :
she is not your judge .
you let her in .
my fingers still holding on to
what is just yet gone
and spreading albicant over
a distressed mirror .
