This devotional fountain, located on the grounds of Mortemer Abbey (Normandy, France), was built in the 18th century. It was the object of a pilgrimage, with single girls coming to say a prayer and place an object belonging to them at the foot of Saint Catherine, in order to find a husband during the year.
Every day thousands of people are fed at the temple, by anyone who wishes to volunteer to do so, it is an act of devotional worship.

In your room
Where time stands still
Or moves at your will
Will you let the morning come soon
Or will you leave me lying here
In your favourite darkness
Your favourite half-light
Your favourite consciousness

There were times in Flatz and the surrounding area when people had to suffer for practising their religion. Most recently, during the Nazi regime, people were persecuted if they were observed going to church. In such times, the more religious people of Flatz always went to this place in the forest below the Flatz' wall, where they built a provisional place of worship with loosely piled stones and could perform their prayers unobserved. This place is called the Flatzer Waldandacht. (Flatz' forest devotional site).

Short Daily Devotional -“Understand God’s Attitude and Drop all Misconceptions of God”
God’s word says, “Though part of God’s essence is love, and He extends mercy toward everyone, people overlook and forget the point that His essence is dignity as well. That He has love doesn’t mean that people can freely offend Him and He doesn’t have any feelings, or any reactions. That He has mercy doesn’t mean that He doesn’t have any principles in how He treats people. God is living; He really exists. He is not an imagined puppet or something else. Since He exists, we should carefully listen to His heart’s voice at all times, pay attention to His attitude, and understand His feelings. We shouldn’t use people’s imaginings to define God, and we shouldn’t impose the thoughts and wishes of people onto God, making God employ man’s style and thinking in how He treats mankind. ” from “How to Know God's Disposition and the Result of His Work" (Excerpt 5)” in The Word Appears in the Flesh

A devotional statue of the Sto. Niño of Atocha that I'm still working on. Inspired by Mexican Retablos depicting the same subject.
The clock on the rear facade of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence is a remarkable piece of Renaissance art and engineering, dating back to 1443 and created by Paolo Uccello. Its uniqueness lies in its 24-hour dial, with Roman numerals arranged counterclockwise, and in its use of “Italic Time,” a system that began the day at sunset. This feature requires manual adjustments to synchronize the clock with solar variations. The four corners of the dial display representations of the evangelists, while lower panels with sacred scenes and angel musicians reinforce the devotional dimension. Restored in the 1970s, this clock remains functional, bearing witness to the transition between medieval engineering and the Florentine Renaissance, blending harmoniously into the cathedral's architecture and reflecting the importance of time in the liturgy and daily life of the period.

The last days are here, the prophecies in the Bible have basically all been fulfilled, and brothers and sisters all look forward to the Lord coming to receive us into the kingdom of heaven. But many brothers and sisters in the Lord are asking: Although we go to church every week to give worship, and we often read the Bible and we expend ourselves and work for the Lord, we are always committing sins in the daytime and then confessing in the evening, living in this vicious spiral, and we can never free ourselves from the bonds of sin. If things carry on this way, will the Lord Jesus
really forgive us, and so we can enter the kingdom of heaven ? How exactly does the Lord treat sinners? .....(Read more in “God’s Attitude Toward Sinners”)
Relevant word of Almighty God: “Some people will end up saying, ‘I’ve done so much work for You, and though there may not have been celebrated achievements, still I have been diligent in my efforts. Can’t You just let me into heaven to eat the fruit of life?’ You must know what kind of people I desire; those who are impure are not permitted to enter into the kingdom, those who are impure are not permitted to besmirch the holy ground. Though you may have done much work, and have worked for many years, in the end if you are still deplorably filthy—it is intolerable to the law of Heaven that you wish to enter My kingdom!” (“Success or Failure Depends on the Path That Man Walks” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). .

Christian Devotional Song With Lyrics | Gospel hymn | "Quieting Myself Before God"
www.holyspiritspeaks.org/videos/quieting-myself-before-Go...
Introduction
Verse 1
I quiet myself before God,
pray and bare my heart to Him.
I simply and honestly open up,
speak from the heart.
I hand my difficulties and shortcomings over to God
and look to Him.
May God enlighten and illuminate me
to understand His will.
Through sincere seeking,
I gain the Holy Spirit’s light in me.
Understanding the truth,
I gain discernment and have a path of practice.
With God’s guidance I live in the light,
my heart is full of joy and sweetness.
I quiet myself before God.
Verse 2
Quiet before God, I ponder His words.
I see humanity’s corruption,
how we’ve lost all human likeness.
With the revelations and judgment of God's words
I reflect on myself:
Motives lurk behind my words, I lie too much.
In my duty, I’m without principles of the truth,
I adhere to rules in my actions.
I lack love for brothers and sisters,
I’m both arrogant and selfish.
I still need to accept more
of God's judgment , trials and cleansing.
I quiet myself before God.
Verse 3
Quieting myself before God
and seeking the truth,
I gradually grow in my life.
Quieting myself before God
and reflecting on myself,
I gain true repentance.
I often quiet myself before God
and truly commune with Him.
It allows me to fear God and shun evil,
and live before Him.
In all things I accept God’s inspection;
I live in the light.
Cleansing occurs in me,
and I live out a true, true life.
I quiet myself before God.
Verse 4
Often thinking on God’s words,
I’ve reaped a great harvest.
The Holy Spirit has enlightened me
to understand even more truths.
Fulfilling my duty,
I’m at ease and find enjoyment.
Putting God’s words into practice,
I receive His blessings and love.
Through sincere seeking
I gain the Holy Spirit’s light in me.
Understanding the truth,
I gain discernment
and have a path of practice.
With God’s guidance I live in the light,
my heart is full of joy and sweetness.
I quiet myself before God.
My heart is full of joy and sweetness.
I quiet myself before God, before God.
I quiet myself before God.
I quiet myself before God.

Introduction
God chose me from an ocean of crowds,
arranging me to come to His side.
His truthful and kind words warmed my heart.
Given the truth, in joy I reside.
His familiar voice, beautiful face
have never changed from the very start.
In His house, His sweet love I taste,
so I lean close and wish not to part.
God has never left my side. He sacrifices with no
complaint.
I’ll throw off corruption and be cleansed.
I’ll accompany God forever, forever.
Without God, the days became too hard.
I staggered along in painful stride.
His protection leads me all the way.
Now with God's words , I am satisfied.
Time brings changes, the world will evolve.
But nothing can part my heart from God.
A promise of millennia, unchanged oath.
Cycles of life and death, I am back to His side.
God has never left my side. He sacrifices with no
complaint.
I’ll throw off corruption and be cleansed.
I’ll accompany God forever, forever.
He’s sown life in my heart.
His words nurture me, giving trials, refinements.
Persecution and sufferings make my life stronger.
Failures are to temper me.
God has never left my side. He sacrifices with no
complaint.
I’ll throw off corruption and be cleansed.
I’ll accompany God forever, forever.
God has never left my side. He sacrifices with no
complaint.
I’ll throw off corruption and be cleansed.
I’ll accompany God forever, forever.

Castellfort (Els Ports de Morella/ Castelló/ Spain).
It has been over two thousand years to date since the Lord Jesus Christ came to the earth and was nailed to the cross in the likeness of sinful flesh to serve as a sin offering for us all. The disposition of love, mercy and forbearance of the Lord Jesus Christ is far beyond the reach of us corrupt humans. Therefore, His name was spread and praised and has become known to all, and many people have belief in and reverence for Him. Here is a question, God is so supreme, so why would He deliberately choose such a normal, ordinary form to come amongst man and perform His work? Read the gospel testimony article and to learn “Why Did the Lord Jesus Work Amongst Man in an Ordinary Form?”

This marble sculpture group above the high altar of Chartres Cathedral depicts the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Created in 1772 by Charles-Antoine Bridan, it shows Mary being lifted into heaven by a host of angels. The figures are arranged in dynamic movement, with flowing garments and upward gestures that suggest ascension. The sculptural ensemble reflects the 18th-century style, which contrasts with the Gothic architecture of the surrounding cathedral.
The work was commissioned during a period of liturgical and artistic renewal in the cathedral’s choir, which included the installation of new furnishings and decorative elements. Though later than the medieval origins of Chartres, Bridan’s sculpture integrates into the liturgical space as a focal point behind the altar. It continues to mark the central devotional theme of the Virgin’s role in Christian theology, consistent with the cathedral’s longstanding dedication to Mary.

Merry Christmas !!!
Christmas is the most joyful holiday during the whole year and it’s being globalized. I believe that Santa Claus who is riding his sleigh in the sky with his flying reindeers and carrying a bag full of gifts for children, and laughing in a way sounds like “Ho Ho Ho”— is the most impressive picture of Christmas people are familiar with for everybody in the world. Children are looking forward to opening presents which was put under the fancy, decorated Christmas tree every year, this has been a family tradition and most of the families.. Also, the contemporary Christmas songs like, “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town”, “Jingle Bells”, “Frosty the Snowman”, “Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer” and so on are catchy in every corner of the world……
However, as Christian, how should we approach Christmas in a way that is after the Lord’s heart? Let’s ponder about that and read the testimony article “Christmas Reflection: Are You Truly Worshiping the Lord Jesus?” to seek for God’s will together.
