Did this last Wednesday night for the next day - Thursday morning!

Had them with the morning coffee - a caramel cappuccino this time from the coffee van.

My wife prepared deviled eggs to go with supper.

that's a 7 layer dip under that heart. and, of course, deviled eggs above.

my sister makes the best deviled eggs.

Halloween goodies, including double chocolate brownie cookies, Ghost cupcakes in Caramel Apple or Pumpkin both with vanilla buttercream, Witches' Fingers chocolate covered pretzel rods, Eyeball and Jack Skellington cake pops in red velvet, Spooky Spider deviled eggs, Mummie hot dogs, Chicken & Broccoli Braids, Funeral Sandwiches, and BBQ meatballs.

Yummy avacado filled deviled eggs.

Sure, it seems a bit like overkill to have four deviled eggs in addition to a grilled cheese sandwich, a cup of soup and a salad but I hadn't eaten anything all day until I arrived at Gold Dust Meridian.

Fine, four deviled eggs is overkill no matter what. These were fine, although my favourite deviled eggs in Portland can still be found at the Half & Half.

My wife and I have a Christmas Eve tradition of having a ham dinner. Our meal consisted of ham, great northern baked beans, macaroni and cheese, a dinner roll and deviled eggs.

Eggs deviled with homemade pimento cheese, ham and red onion. They were out of the bell pepper jelly that usually accompanies them.

the platter does, in fact, say "How to Eat a Lobster"

A tray of appetizers from the wine & cheese party Dorothy and I threw Saturday: deviled eggs, and peppadews stuffed with chevre.

Lots of tasty bites to snack on.

As part of homeschooling, I'm doing an "Around the World" geography unit study. Going in alphabetical order, the girls are now on Spain (they have learned about a country for each of the letters from A to R so far).

For each country, I pick out some recipes for the girls to try. For spain, there were a couple of recipes that I thought they might enjoy. One was a marinated chicken (it took about 6 hours to marinate) and the other was tunafish-deviled egg.

The latter recipe was supposed to have capers and anchovies in and on top of the eggs, but I knew the girls wouldn't eat them.

We're now ready to study about a country that starts with "T"...not sure which one yet.

Memorial Day lunch that my wife prepared.

Food from the Capital One Lounge at Dallas/Fort Worth International. I don't know why I didn't take a single photograph of the lounge itself but it's also okay because I'm not a travel blogger or anything like that.

Ruth made a platter of deviled eggs for a Thanksgiving dinner with friends on Market Square. I couldn't resist the opportunity to take a picture of such a nice looking appetizer. The eggs on the left are deviled eggs stuffed with gherkins and capers. The eggs on the right are stuffed with crab-meat and tomatoes.

Next level stuff here: avocado deviled eggs from @greaseburgerwpb! Complete with candied bacon. I even added some of their Hell Sauce to really bring out the devil in those eggs. I have to say, they were excellent. High on the hipster cuisine index, but damned tasty.
