It was that great late afternoon light, innocently falling on a yellow gate. When I made the gate dark enough to look as it looked, everything else got very dark and weird, but I thought it was perfect for Halloween. I didn't saturate it at all, it just came out like this. Don't know what the little horn-like things are....
It was an early start to the evening but the guys in Devil You Know, brought it loud and heavy!

Devil's Churn, not churning too much for us this morning. Cape Perpetua Scenic Area. I guess it is churning a little bit at the mouth, but it is supposed to spray up water from the narrowest part. You have to be there at the right time. We barely got out of the car for this, but it looks like there was a nice walking trail along the coast here.
