The topic of mastering is often mystified, with the prevailing belief that it’s best left to professionals with top-notch equipment in studios with perfect acoustics. While this is largely true, sometimes it’s not a realistic option, so it’s necessary to roll up our sleeves and make the most of what we have available.
This workshop is beneficial even to those who don’t plan on mastering because knowledge about this stage of music production is very useful, especially for the preceding phase that more and more musicians are taking into their own hands – mixing.
How to navigate this precisely was clarified by workshop leader Saša Rajković, also known as Zarkoff, owner of Sensorium Studio, mastering engineer for labels such as Creme Organization, Raw Culture Records, Kri Recordings, Rapid Eye Movement, Vesuvius Recordings, and many others.

In the framework of the MADE IN – Platform for Contemporary Crafts and Design, the fifth edition of the AND Fair: Abandon Normal Devices (Sajam 3N: Napusti normalne naprave) took place in Rijeka on April 19th and 20th, featuring an intriguing showcase of various devices and objects by Radiona association from Zagreb, and collectives Cirkulacija2 and BridA from Slovenia, along with a rich program of workshops for both children and adults.
