The Badger ORI is a do-it-yourself kit for self-assembly that you can use as a badge/pin, keychain charm, or necklace, whichever suits you best. With this kit, you will master the basics of electricity and soldering while simultaneously discovering why the badger is a cool inhabitant of planet Earth.
Mini synth by Radiona.org, designed by Igor Brkić, enables participants to create a simple electronic device for sound generation. They will also learn how and why the synth does what it does, how to connect wires, how to solder, and master the basics of electronics, culminating in the opportunity to produce some noise with their mini synthesizer. Participants take their synths home.
Radiona.org is a non-profit organisation and citizen lab consisting of makerspace/hackerspace, media art lab, Repair Café and residence program founded in 2011. The organisation is dealing with DIY (do-it-yourself), DIWO (do-it-with-others) and DITO (do-it-together) cultures, STEAM concepts, interdisciplinary and intergenerational non-formal education and hybrid activities. The lab is developing innovative projects with an emphasis on community building, participation, cohesion and social inclusion, knowledge transfer and co-creation. It is also active in the areas of GLAM, CCI in the international and local context, policy making on municipal and international level. It focuses its activities on education, innovation, research processes, art production, curatorial practices, residencies, international and domestic inter-sector collaborations, self-sustainable systems, repair community activities, citizen science and social awareness related activities.

In the framework of the MADE IN – Platform for Contemporary Crafts and Design, the fifth edition of the AND Fair: Abandon Normal Devices (Sajam 3N: Napusti normalne naprave) took place in Rijeka on April 19th and 20th, featuring an intriguing showcase of various devices and objects by Radiona association from Zagreb, and collectives Cirkulacija2 and BridA from Slovenia, along with a rich program of workshops for both children and adults.

since i need to keep them submerged i looked and looked all over my kitchen for something and finally figured on my coffee press, not very authentic, but it will keep the olives submerged!
note: todd was worried that the metal might have some kind of chemical reaction.... yikes... i have now moved the olives to a glass jar with a piece of crockery holding them down.... to be continued.
