ATLANTIC FUTURE FORUM 2022
The 2022 Atlantic Future Forum (AFF) will take place on board HMS Queen Elizabeth, Wednesday 28th September at anchor off New York City during her deployment to the USA.
The event, two day conference, brings together the brightest minds and most influential thinkers-from defence and beyond-to strengthen the US-UK special relationship and encourage collaboration between the public and private sector. Through a series of keynote speeches and panel discussions, the Forum will explore how both private and public sector and US and UK interests can work together to maximise the opportunities – and mitigate the risks – posed by current and future technologies.
The Forum will be an opportunity for senior politicians, policymakers, military leaders and academia, together with business leaders and entrepreneurs to discuss the new dimensions of international security and the future technologies which will define the next decade and beyond.
The Forum will be led by the Department for International Trade (DIT), working alongside the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) to strengthen the trade and economic pillars of the Euro-Atlantic alliance and reinforce our security and defence partnerships with like-minded, democratic allies. The AFF is chaired by Lord Sedwill and will be co-hosted by the First Sea Lord, Admiral Sir Ben Key and HM Ambassador Dame Karen Pierce.
HMS Queen Elizabeth sailed from Portsmouth on the 7th September 2022 for New York, United States of America, to host Atlantic Future Forum before continuing on operations.
Agribusiness Development Activity is aimed at the transformation from ineffective subsistence farming to commercial, profitable agribusiness through the disbursement of matching grants and the provision of technical and market information assistance. Grants are awarded through competition on the co-financing basis for the development of small value-adding enterprises, farm service centers, value chain and primary production in any region of Georgia. The project will help develop agribusiness and create new job opportunities.
One day workshop on Skill development & Instrument Handing was arranged at Alkhidmat Hospital, Nishterabad Peshawar. The workers of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Khyber Pakhtunkhwa performing duties at various Alkhidmat Healthcare Units attended the workshop.

'Shoreline Development' This series of photos is of the first part of the development to be nearing completion. Ultimately the complex will occupy the foreshore from here to Folkestone Harbour with similar blocks of apartments. They may be described as luxury - the website indicates that a 1 bedroom apartment will be on sale at nearly half a million £s. This does include parking space in the basement. Current locals have a Marmite attitude to the development.

Inaugurated a 30-Bed Community Health Centre at Sector 32 A, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana which has come up at a cost of Rs. 4.9 crore. There are a total of 11 Community Health Centres under Urban Health Mission besides 60 Urban Primary Health Centres under repair and renovation in Punjab. Ludhiana has six, Jalandhar has three and Amritsar has two Community Health Centres (Urban), out of which first one is at Ludhiana was inaugurated today.

The main street of Clayton will be transformed this month, as the Clayton Street Festival takes over the busy shopping centre, with a feast of colour, fun and activities for people of all ages.

Well streets old car wash in the west end is under developments and Robbie’s hope is to add a burger stand with seating, while further inside he plans to develop the land into a garden centre and work shop. These photos show the mess Robbie will have to part clean up and level off to make access for wheel chairs and the public. Robbie moved back to Scotland after living and working in England, decided to return to Scotland after seeing his daughter get married and with the hope of future grand children, the decision was an easy one.
