This painting is a mix media on a Taktee (a wooden panel) depicting the hypocrisy of divide of human civilization in the name of politics of nihilism, sadly it is in the possession of Mr.Saleem Asmi (Ex. Editor DAWN) who allegedly bought it, with the connivance of the main organizers of the convention of PIPFPD, held here in Karachi in December 2003 at a local hotel, with out my consent as the work was on display only and not for sale.

For Core Studio project. We were assigned a mythical character from which we had to distill an inherent dichotomy and create a visual profile around it.
My character was Budai and the dichotomy was Excess and Contentment.
The logo is for a voting-system that would be implemented into ATMs.

The 27 people appointed to the minister’s Advisory Forum on Poverty Reduction bring a broad range of expertise to their roles, and will provide their insights and guidance to the minister as the Poverty Reduction Strategy is developed. The forum members represent multiple sectors, including poverty advocates, people with lived experience, Indigenous people, academics and experts, along with representatives of the labour and business communities.

3 May 2023 - during the 56th Annual Meeting in Incheon, the Department of Communications (DOC) hosted a media briefing on economic cost of climate, entitled, "Asia in the Global Transition to Net Zero". Dr. Albert Park, ADB's Chief Economist spoke for the briefing. The topic was also part of Asian Development Outlook 2023's Thematic Report.
The event was held on the sidelines of the 56th Annual Meeting of the ADB Board of Governors.
I took this at Cuyamaca College at their Child Development Center on campus. They have developed the center into a Reggio Emilio center. I loved it!

Sponza Palace, also called Divona, is a 16th-century palace in Dubrovnik. Its name is derived from the Latin word "spongia", the spot where rainwater was collected. The rectangular building with an inner courtyard was built in a mixed Gothic and Renaissance style between 1516 and 1522 by Paskoje Miličević Mihov. The loggia and sculptures were crafted by the brothers Andrijić and other stonecutters. The palace has served a variety of public functions, including as a customs office and bonded warehouse, mint, armory, treasury, bank and school. It became the cultural center of the Republic of Ragusa with the establishment of the Academia dei Concordi, a literary academy, in the 16th century. It survived the 1667 earthquake without damage. The palace's atrium served as a trading center. The palace is now home to the city archives, which hold documents dating back to the 12th century, with the earliest manuscript being from 1022. These files, including more than 7000 volumes of manuscripts and about 100,000 individual manuscripts, were previously kept in the Rector's palace / Dubrovnik is a city on the Adriatic Sea in southern Croatia. It is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Mediterranean Sea, a seaport and the center of Dubrovnik-Neretva County. Its total 2019 population was <30,000. In 1979, the city of Dubrovnik joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage sites. The prosperity of the city was historically based on maritime trade; as the capital of the maritime Republic of Ragusa, it achieved a high level of development, particularly during the 15th and 16th centuries, as it became notable for its wealth and skilled diplomacy. In 1991, after the break-up of Yugoslavia, Dubrovnik was besieged by Serbian and Montenegrin soldiers of the Yugoslav People's Army for seven months and suffered significant damage from shelling. The 'Pearl of the Adriatic', situated on the Dalmatian coast, became an important Mediterranean Sea power from the 13th century onwards. Although severely damaged by an earthquake in 1667, Dubrovnik managed to preserve its beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains. Damaged again in the 1990s by armed conflict, it has since a focus for its complete restoration in a program coordinated by UNESCO. After making repair and restorations in the 1990s and early 2000s, Dubrovnik has re-emerged as one of the top tourist destinations in the Mediterranean.

WSDOT is studying safety, economic development, and congestion issues on US 395 through Kennewick and Pasco from I-82 to I-182. The Kennewick section of US 395 is partial limited access control with 10 at-grade intersections. The large developable land in the vicinity is creating a need to address how the increased traffic volumes will affect US 395 and the intersections. Future growth for the surrounding area will add more vehicles to the roadway, exacerbating the current safety and congestion issues. We will conduct a corridor analysis to identify these problems and develop potential solutions

Between March 2008 and October 2009, UKaid from the Department for International Development helped 2.7 million people in Africa and 3.1 million in Asia gain access to safe water.
Here in Tijmali, India, a DFID-funded project installed a water tap for villagers living at an altitude where the women had to walk for three hours to collect basic supplies for their needs.

This is the flight of steps leading from the new canal bridge down to Bevan’s Lane. The leading edges are trimmed with a yellow, non slip strip. All very good, except that raised about a quarter of an inch, the strips act like a dam, trapping water on the steps. If heavy rain were followed by freezing conditions, these steps would become lethal.
