The 8th annual International Space Station Research and Development Conference (ISSRDC) was held July 29 to August 1, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia. The ISSRDC conference—held in coordination with the International Space Station (ISS) U.S. National Laboratory, the American Astronautical Society, and NASA—was created to connect U.S. government agencies, commercial enterprises, and academic communities in order to foster new innovations, breakthroughs, and discoveries onboard humankind’s unique orbiting laboratory.
The Thirty-Second Session of WIPO’s Committee on Development and Intellectual Property (CDIP) took place in Geneva from April 29 to May 3, 2024, in hybrid form – with delegates and observers attending physically in Geneva, Switzerland, and via remote participation from around the world.

After all they had started their election carnival this time with a calculated silence on the connivance of the state machmery in the pogroms of Gujarat in 2002 or Muzaffarnagar in 2013, glossing them over with their notions of 'development' ·good-governance. 'transparency' ·and ·anti-corruption' but their real face kept getting exposed .
Modi and his 'Gujarat model of development' are everywhere; in each and every media house debates, in every reports, in academic discourses and layman discussions. The success of the corporate media and the corporate lobby lies in establishing the fact that a 'GuJarat model of development' indeed exists which they are now trying to universalise The entire country should therefore emulate the Gujarat model of development and of course at the behest of who else but the Gujarat CM! And it does not matter if the Gujarat CM has blood on hts hands, and that the wheels of his 'development' have crushed lives and justice, in thousands. For the development of the country, some sacrifices are always essential (we ve been told so long back by Modi's forefather Nehru!) and it is not without remorse that the Gujaral CM looks back at 2002. He feels bad as puppies are crushed under his car. as Naroda Patiya was burnt to shambles. as Gulbarg Society was wiped out, as more than 2000 burnt, mutilated, raped corpses keep looktng at us from the shadows of history: as the bodies of lshrat Jahan and others killed in cold blood lay on the road and to everything he has an excuse in Development! And after more than a decade of silencing massacres with the mantra of 'development' and .
denying justice to the persecuted religious minorities; in the build up to the next general elections. he sent his lieutenant .
A mit Shah to UP. Not to preach 'development', but to perpetrate one more massacre Keep it low intensity. this time! There should be less deaths. but a greater number of displacement. It must not be as gory as Gujarat 2002 but the message should be as strong! It must not shock the people with the gruesome violence but the polarization must be ensured. Moat importantly, manage the media to black it out..it must not become an issue for the elec1ions or beyond! And when one lakh people of Muzzaffarnagar were forced out of their homes in 'relief camps' after the orchestrated carnage (which claimed more than 80 lives); up went Gujarat CM's smiling face in huge hoardings around Uttar Pradesh 'danga nahin vikaas chahie' (we don't want riots but development!). .
The 'development' that Gujarat CM proposes comes as a package with massacres. It is the carefully covered reign of destruction. destitution, dispossession and death that the crisis ridden imperialist economy needs to thrive on. It is a necessity for both brahmanical feudal forces as well as the decaying imperialist capital that a fascist figurehead like Modi seeks to reign with an iron fist. It is not for nothing that corporate giants like Ambani, Adani, Tata. Birla and scores of others are pumping crores of rupees in to his election campaign. Corporales never invest a penny unless it is returned with interests. The hundreds of MoUs in the pipeline for the corporate plunder of natural resources that could not be implemented due to the valiant struggles of the people, must be operationalised now with brute force The nuclear power plants must start running. The loot of mtnerals must be complete. Health and education must be commodified and sold in market. And most importantly the range of assert1ve people's movements fighting for their land, livelihood. dignity and basic rights must be brutally crushed. The Gujarat CM in any case is not just an individual. He stands for the vision and ideology of RSS; he represents the very brahmanical notion of the likes of Golwalkar and Gandhi with which the Indian state has woven its base. Thts entire ant1-people state machrnery and the various parliamentary parties (from 'left and beyond) w1th the1r opportunist pollt1cs of capitulation and compromrse have paved way today for th1s fasc1st figurehead to walk in The imperialist market funded the saffron carpet for him wh1ch covers up the deaths and destruction .
