This image shows a mixed media development piece of the Union Jack that I created using stitch, papercut, fabric and paint. The first photograph shows the piece as a whole. The second image shows a paper cut umbrella, from an old map, stitched onto the fabric. The umbrella shape was derived from a sculpture created by Michael Craig-Martin. The images below show fabric tea bags and stitching of shapes taken from an observational drawing of a crumpet, both iconic British objects. The bottom left image shows multi-coloured stitching on the flag, inspired by the lines on a tube map.

​Twenty One Angullia​ Park
It is impossible to talk about ​Twenty One Angulia Park without starting with the way it looks. Knowing how expensive each square foot of floor space is in Singapore in general, but especially at this postcode, it is a bold decision to have so much space taken up by what would have in the past been considered wasted areas. But these sky terraces, the way the gaps both break up the infrastructure and allow natural light to flood in, are what makes this development look and feel so special.
