The Old Market Square in Grodzisk Wielkopolski is a square in the form of a square. In the central part there is a historic Town Hall built in 1830. It underwent a major reconstruction in 1910, which gave it its present appearance. The building was damaged during the bombing in January 1945. In 1997–1998 the town hall was completely renovated and old decorative details were restored.

Działoszyn ll ET22-1047 jeżdżąca dla spółki PKP Cargo Service w trakcie jazdy próbnej po wykonanej naprawie poziomu P5 (naprawa główna) w Zakładzie PKP Cargo w Zduńskiej Woli Karsznice. Lokomotywa posada malowanie i detale wyposażenia takie jak oryginalnie miała po wyprodukowaniu w zakładach PAFAWAG Wrocław w 1987 roku. Wielki szacunek dla wszystkich ludzi, którzy przywrócili ją to takiego stanu!
Działoszyn II Electric locomotive ET22-1047, currently in service with PKP Cargo Service, shown during a post-overhaul test run conducted after a complete P5-level (main) repair carried out at the PKP Cargo workshops in Zduńska Wola Karsznice. The unit has been restored to its factory-original 1987 PAFAWAG Wrocław configuration, including its period-correct livery, external fittings, and equipment details. The restoration reflects meticulous work and high technical accuracy—credit to everyone involved in returning the locomotive to this near-original operational state.

It all started almost two months ago with an idea. Make something for May 4th (I’m late, I know, but cut me some slack). Me and Jan, the Creator are both big fans of the Imperial architecture seen in the Star Wars universe and wanted to do something large in size. After some hours of researching, looking through many concept arts and designs, the plans were put together and we set out to build our creations.
~ Platform ~
The starting point for me here was the platform on which the custom Tie Fighter (designed by Jerac) and many minifigs are standing on. One piece of concept art / Imperial structure we found was a large landing platform on Kashyyyk. To get the shaping right, a combination of corner slopes, hinges and many larger tiles were used to get the look. Since the surrounding area was to be terrain, I went with Dark Orange as the color for the ground. I purposefully left this area more flat and basic to leave attention towards the base. I also wanted a small area below the platform to store speeders which also helps break up the bottom area, giving it some action.
~ Base ~
The base itself was built in two main sections and some medium sized segments at the top. Walls here uses various tiles in LBG and DBG to form this Imperial architecture design. Was quite a challenge later on with the lack of tiles in certain areas so I had to get creative in how I would spread them. Instead of just using regular tile, I also made use of sandwhich tiles, corner faucet cut tiles and some snot to built up this area. Lots of other elements were used for detail including some DBG frames that I attached to tiles to create this column in the middle wall. The key thing while working on this was to keep a balance of simplicity and detail, something that can get lost while working on a larger creation. As we get to the top, you can see more detail and extras, like crates and dishes that populate this area.
~ Minifigs ~
The last thing I want to discuss is the minifigs used throughout the build. The Imperial selection of officers, troopers and crew is very extensive so once again, keeping a balance was important. Me and Jan wanted to include characters like Grand Admiral Thrawn and Moff Tarkin to give these creations a bit more purpose. Perhaps they’re here to inspect something new, here for a strategy session, the point is these two give a presence, even with being two small minifigs. The Death Troopers additionally work well to complement those, giving you once again the feeling that there are things at work here.

Cathedral in Catania – Sicily.
One very interesting city . In 1693 earthquake have destroyed many cities in Sicily and killed 100,000 people. Catania was rebuild and majority of old city was created in Sicilian Baroque . Very busy city with cars parked everywhere , markets – it really brought back the memories of my time in Athens ( I lived there for over year and the half in 86 )

Attorney James N.Thomas erected the one-story of this residence before1851.
James I.Perkins built the two story wing and added Victorian detaling
in 1883. Head of a leading Rusk family who owned this home for 94 yrs.
Perkins served as district attorney, district judge, and a member of the State Legislature. His son James I. Perkins, Jr., (1887-1952) and daughter-in-law Morinne (Taylor) (1905-1974) shared a law practice and held offices in city and county government.
I took this one a while back and forgot to post it at the time. Another treasure that I found in my neighbour's garden the day that I saw my first Teddy Bear bee.

Most składa się z ok. 1600 żelaznych części. W 1945 r. został wyłączony z ruchu kołowego, a w 2009 r. przeprowadzono generalny remont, podczas którego odtworzono zniszczone detale oraz podwieszono przęsło na dodatkowych linach.

Historical bridge over the Mała Panew river, Hutnicza str., Ozimek, August 19, 2015
The bridge consists of ca. 1600 wrought iron elements. In 1945 the bridge was excluded from road traffic and in 2009 the renovation works were carried out, during which destroyed details were recreated and the span has been suspended on additional cables.

Dukes Mews is a small street on a corner of Muswell Hill. The courtyards and backs of the houses, their walls, windows, and heating pipes have captivated me, inspiring me to paint its landscape. The city of London provides me with countless subjects for my watercolors, with hidden places that aren't touristy or well-known. Here, I can observe the secrets of the city and the details that create an atmosphere that I'm sure encapsulates the streets where its inhabitants live their lives peacefully. Sometimes we do not realize that when looking at a photo after some years, the attention is drawn to certain elements that were not particularly the most important for the photographer at the moment. After years, some details from the background might be more interesting than the foreground objects.
This is what it looks like in this picture taken in Raciąż on October 25, 2006. ST44-651 locomotive with a set of coal wagons stands on the side track, while probably aggregate is unloaded from the wagon on the loading track on the left. And almost in the very edge of the photo we see two fantastic vehicles - Jelcz 315 with a built-in MPS bucket excavator, and next to it a Star 200 tipper in the modernized version (headlamps in the front bumper), to which material is transloaded from the wagon. These two trucks are a piece of history of the Polish trucking industry from the communist period, I don't know when they suddenly disappeared from Polish roads and to meet Jelcz or Star today in working condition, you really have to be very lucky.
And in this way, the heroes of the background are today perhaps the core value of this photograph.

Czasem nie zdajemy sobie sprawy, że oglądając po latach jakąś fotografię uwagę przykuwają pewne elementy, które dla fotografującego niespecjalnie były istotne. Po latach to właśnie jakieś detale z tła stanowią ciekawostkę większą, niż obiekty pierwszoplanowe.
Tak wydaje się być na tej fotografii, wykonanej w Raciążu 25 października 2006 roku. Na torze dodatkowym stoi ST44-651 ze składem węglarek, natomiast na torze ładunkowym (ogólnym) odbywa się wyładunek materiału sypkiego z wagonu. I w samym brzegu zdjęcia widzimy koło siebie dwa fantastyczne pojazdy - Jelcz 315 z zabudowaną koparką czerpakową MPS, a obok niego stoi wywrotka Star 200 w wersji po modernizacji (reflektory w zderzaku), na którą zrzucany jest materiał z wagonu. Te dwa pojazdy ciężarowe to kawał historii polskiej motoryzacji użytkowej jeszcze okresu komuny, nie wiadomo kiedy nagle zniknęły z polskich dróg i spotkać dzisiaj jeżdżącego Jelcza czy Stara to naprawdę trzeba mieć szczęście.
I w taki sposób bohaterowie drugiego planu stanowią dzisiaj może i podstawowy walor tej fotografii.
