Colony ships were Golden Age spacecraft built to send 600 colonists, supplies, and three shuttles to establish colonies off Earth. "Exodus Black" was one such ship, which crash lands on Nessus and is home to the sassy AI, Failsafe.
Exodus Black is my SHIPtember 2018 build. Stands 107 studs tall (34") 100% on its own - no display stand or supports in addition to its landing gear. Built in 16 days and finished just before semester start.

At first glance a seemingly a new programming, they are much older than any Vex outside the Black Garden. They have been found only on Venus, primarily around the Ishtar Archives trying (unsuccessfully) to gain access.
Dangerous, but not invincible, they are sought after by Hunters, Titans and Warlocks alike for any armor, weapons or information that can be pulled from them.

I started building something "inspired" by Destiny's Vex race to celebrate 3 years of Destiny. But then I built the head and decided to go all-in and make this to celebrate the Beta for Destiny 2.
I'm hoping Lego will at some point make that rounded Star Wars shoulder armour in this pearl gold.

Exotic hand cannon from the game Destiny 2. Belonging to Cayde 6, players can earn this awesome weapon by completing a quest line. Standard colours for this gun are black and white, however I chose to build the version with the grey and red ornament.

I'm not good at competitive multiplayer. Even this isn't actually "competitive" in Bungie's terms.
But it turns out there's always someone worse. My buddy Litre of Farva and I couldn't figure out if these guys were drunk, playing with only one hand, trying some other hilarious handicap, or were just that bad.
But I'll probably never see a 23-kill streak again. So, thanks for that boost of confidence, guys!
Custom resolution, in-game hud removal, stood really close to something while holding a sword to hide player model.

Hey guys. Kept this project pretty secret the past year until recently. This was originally an unfinished side project I decided needed to be completed. So here ya go.
Made using EVA foam as the main structure and craft foam for some of the smaller details, PVC pipe for the main handle, and a plastic chain I bought off Amazon and painted.
I think I might weather it a little bit more, but for now I'm happy with it. I put a PVC coupler inside the axe head so it is completely removable. Gonna do that with most of my props from now on.
