A tiny slice of my daily view---a macro shot of the mesh organizer on my desk, taken for today's Macro Mondays theme 'holes'.
A macro view of a small plastic desk organizer backlit with polarized light. The frame represents a span of approximately three-inches across.
Lens: Tokina AT - X M100 AF PRO D (AF 100mm f / 2.8 Macro) with circular polarizer filter attached.
A white toilet-shaped base that holds a memo pad, paper clips and extra pens. An orange fellow tape dispenser sits on the base and holds a pen crossways in it's mouth. This was an office desk organizer in a doctor's office at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, New York.
I think this was a.........actually I don't know what it used to be. But now it's a desk organizer with three slots for holding all kinds of goodies

I could never find the right antique letter holder for my desk, no matter how many antique shops my wife and I raided. So, I made the perfect old world styled letter holder that I had in my head.
Hand made, distressed, stained and clear coated so it looks like it's 100 years old, tough enough to last 100 more, yet still earthy enough to please the wife's softer style.
I can actually fit paper folders in each shelf (up to 9" x 12"), and holds the right amount of items for me to tuck away and keep my office desk clean until I can get back to them.

- "Red Mahogany" stain color
- Satin finish
- Total dimensions: 13"(L) x 9.5"(W) x 5.5"(H)
- Each slot is 2" high

After going through another set of boxes added and removed from my desktop area, I had a nice basket of cables that overflowed, blocking a closet door.
A wire paper tray kit from Office Depot, and most of the networking gear is out of the way.
