thought i'd share with you what has been keeping me busy the last several months. this is one of the Christian Audigier/Ed Hardy stores i worked on and the first one to open. it opened last week at Tysons Corner Center in Mclean, Virginia. the 16-35mm f2.8 came in handy in this shoot as i did not want to use flash. see more pictures below.
have a great week ahead, you all! i'll be by your stream later!
Our approach has always been one that embraces collaboration as a fundamental part of what we do.
Over the last ten years we have worked with highly talented individuals, teams and companies from all over the world that help bring our vision to life.
Join the Dots is a celebration of the spirit of collaboration.
A simple idea. A consistent frame for a multitude of work. A single dot, each representing one collaborator, each a connection to another.
Each collaborator is given a template of a dot in a fixed position on an A2 portrait poster. Each interpreted this in their own way.
These are the first 25. There will be 100 in total and be collated into a book and exhibition.
Thanks to all that have contributed so far and for those that are still to come.

While A-M did not win the GT championship that year, Roy Salvadori scored a first place finish here, a few seconds ahead of the Parkes Ferrari GTO. On its home ground. Lucien Bianchi drove the other car to place third. This was the Aston-Martin factory's last race for some years.
John Wyer was helping out team manager John Horsman at this event before retiring.
(This photo appears on p.91 of Michel Bollee's "Aston-Martin Project 212-214-215", publisher Editions du Palmier).
Horsman was team manager, John Wyer helping out - just before he retired. Roy Salvadori and Lucien Bianchi finished first and third in the DP214 Aston-Martins.
Although the latter did not win that year's GT constructors championship, in this race they did beat Ferrari on its home turf.
As soon as Salvadori pulled out a significant lead, many of the spectators appeared to lose interest entirely and walked away.

A little peek at what's on my desk right now - an overflowing pile of doilies for a design project. :) Oh, I love them...

I do not wish to misinterpret my friends project here, but I do believe it was one to show competition, and advancement in techonology.
It ended up with models of 4 of the major advances from the USSR and the USA during the cold war era, all of which fitted inside a large russian doll type model, which was emblazoned with the country of origins flag.
I for one loved the models he came up with :D
I took this picture of a few pieces of his work, for his portfolio.
Photo was taken in a pitch black room, using a strobe off camera right, and an LED torch to the cameras right.

I wrapped my head in quite a bit of saran wrap, tried to breathe and snapped as many photos as I could before I passed out. The results were just what I was looking for.
Ten teams comprising more than two dozen students on from the ENGIN 2213 Introduction to Digital Systems class recently shared and discussed their design projects during the Digital Systems Student Project Design Showcase.
