I'm actually not fond of this design at all. I just like all the hair.

I can just imagine how beautiful this would look at Burning Man, made up in a sky blue linen, with a a sheer cotton blouse.

I see this made up in subtly colored wool crepe, for a very feminine suit.

The design lines in this suit jacket become a hipline-extending pocket. I like the complex cuffs. It kind reminds me of airline stewardess uniforms, but in a good way.

I'm really happy to make this collab with my best friend, super talented @bugbolito . The globe is made by @bugbolito and I edited with a lot of mirrorgrams... Don't forget to check out his feed!

high waisted skirt with butterfly-eye inset. The skirt would be pretty in a denim-colored Chambray cotton. I love using workmen's fabric for skirts :) For the eyes, each ring would be an iridescent tissue taffeta in a different color, stitched together with a zigzag stitch in a contrast color. I've made a butterfly eye in this way before, and it's very, very pretty.

Machine washable :)

I see this top in a knit, but that means there's some trickery necessary to keep the cut-out shapes in shape. I'm working on that , mentally.

The pants I would love to make in a seersucker, with the layered ruffles in a variety of subtly textured lightweight fabrics--like crinkle chiffon and organza. The waistband is an attached, gathered band of fabric that disappears into two large grommets after faux-crossing in the front, so it'll have to zip up the back.

Shamelessly inspired by one of my contacts, pintuck, whose 80's-bright magpie style has been making me color-happy lately.

A suit in blue wool with yet a different princess seam-becomes-a-pocket treatment The shoulders & part of the back are open to reveal a slice of the ivory blouse underneath. Deco-seamed skirt with multi-pleats at sides.

Double layer blouse: georette over something else. could be rayon/lycra jersey?

This is actually an old drawing--I'll be catching y'all up with my older illustrations while I clear out my schedule again.

Anyway, I actually made this outfit: It's one of the many, many things I made and never photographed. If you bought it, I'd love to see how it looks on you!

It was made from a vintage kimono.
