The Jarritos Flavor City Art Contest: "Drink Out Loud" is looking for innovative Angelenos to describe what Jarritos means to you. We are looking for artists of all ages to develop eye-catching works of art in any medium to express the flavor and experience of Jarritos. Each art submission must incorporate the "Drink Out Loud" slogan logo and at least one of the eleven Jarritos flavors. (fruit punch, grapefruit, guava, hibiscus, lime, mandarin, pineapple, strawberry, tamarind, mango, lemon-lime).
The judge panel is assembled by Los Angeles residents prominent within the art community: Estevan Oriol of SA Studios, Raymond Roker of URB Magazine, Roger Gastman of R. Rock Enterprises, Stephan Malbon of Frank 151, Amir Fallah of Beautiful Decay, Casey Zoltan of The Seventh Letter and Known Gallery, Mark The Cobra Snake, Retna, Brandy Flower of Hit and Run, Chris Grosso of GuerillaOne.com.
The winner of the Jarritos Flavor City Art Contest: "Drink Out Loud" will have their work published amongst our partner media outlets and formally displayed at the LA Downtown art walk on July 8, 2010. Cuộc thi “Thiết kế hoa văn chăn gối” là một cuộc thi chính thức đầu tiên được tổ chức bởi công ty Cổ Phần Everpia Việt Nam, đơn vị sở hữu những thương hiệu hàng đầu Việt Nam trong nghành hàng sản xuất và phân phối các sản phẩm chăn ga gối đệm như: Artemis, Everon, Edelin và Lovelon.
Cuộc thi được tổ chức nhằm tạo nên một sân chơi minh bạch, công bằng và bổ ích cho các bạn học viên/ sinh viên tại các trường Đại học, cao đẳng, TCCN và các trung tâm đào tạo về đồ họa, thời trang nói riêng và các bạn có niềm đam mê với thiết kế nói chung.
Tại đây, các bạn có thể thỏa thích thể hiện những ý tưởng mới mẻ, độc đáo của mình, nhằm tạo nên những họa tiết sinh động, mà không bị gò bó bởi bất kì tiêu chí nào, điều duy nhất các bạn cần thể hiện đó là: “Cái Tôi” của bạn.
Chúng tôi luôn chào đón và mong chờ nhận được các bài dự thi xuất sắc nhất của các bạn.

The contest holder asked the designers to consider Papillon, the character - a real man who was sent to prison in French Guiana and excaped, numerous times and he was called Papillon because of his butterfly tattoo. The logo was for an upscale Manhattan (NYC) bistro. I chose to consider the bow tie as the butterfly and give it a sharp sort of retro feel. I don't think the contest holder got it, but that's how it goes sometimes.
