A watercolour painting produced in situ during the September Draw-Derby event, that coincided with this year's annual Feste event, the picture depicts activities focused on the Cathedral Green area of the city. Which included both participatory opportunities as well as Preforming Arts acts.

I’m always in awe of people with the ability to drag a tune out of bent pipes with valves an’ that. As for stringed frying pans, that’s a whole world that’s closed to me.
So basically I’m trying to say that I have not one musical bone in my body. I can listen to it all day long but ask me to coax a note out of any musical instrument and I’d have more success simultaneously juggling a running chainsaw and a few kittens.
I've played in marching bands in the past. They're great fun, very loud, lots of work but don't normally look quite like this!

"Already recognised as one of the most spectacular weekend festivals of its kind, this year's Derby Festé will bring some of the very best outdoor performances to the streets of Derby from 24th to 26th September.
The three-day festival brings a variety of international and local artists together for a feast of eye-popping live performances which will both "stimulate the senses, and take your breath away".
Since Derby Festé first appeared, we’ve seen fire-breathing dragons roaming the streets, daring aerial acrobatics, and the entire city centre brought to life by street parties and live bands.
The theme for this year is "Colour & Light" and will get under way on Friday 24th with a magnificent Luminarium by Architects of Air on the recently landscaped Cathedral Green and an outdoor disco in the city's market place.
The undoubted highlight will be the internationally acclaimed percussion and pyrotechnics act, Les Commandos Percu, who will help to make the city rock with a choreographed performance in front of thousands in the Bass Recreation Ground on Saturday 25th"
