Design Principle: Emphasis

On my drive to work I noticed how the freezing rain and snow that had fallen the night before, sticking to the trees and plants giving them a certain glow and appealing look. Luckily when I arrived home later in the day, the ice was still on some plants and the sun was partly shining. I chose this photo out of the many I took because I was able to blur out the background completely; focusing on the center where the ice looks like its growing from the plant or like it’s wearing it. I also like how the light refracts off the ice, capturing specs of colors. The ice is also translucent, giving the quality again that plant and Ice are one.

I don't even know if these are dandelions, but I was jamming out to the Railroad Earth song of the same title, and figured, why not?

I was just informed they are Mums. Perhaps the alternate title should be "Mum's The Word"?
