On this trip, I was using my 17-70 instead of my 70mm Macro so I could adjust the framing by zooming out. Except for the af improvement, I feel the next best improvement with the D7100 is the color fidelity.

I picked these up for Helen when I was at the local store and whilst they were nice we didn't expect them to open up quite so spectacularly.

 

I framed it like this because I wanted to create the idea of a horizon with the bunch of roses with the focus low down. I liked it anyway :-)

My niece, again. She is always asking me to take pictures of her.

  

Aperture, shutter and iso are always a combination of code that take time to study.

This wasp kindly posed on the outside of my window. I was amazed it was still active in November to be honest!

Parking garage

The Flash didn't work. I had to use a LED light. I think this is a good flashlight. Later, I got to know I had to turn off the silent mode for Flash photography.
