I've been making 5x7 Coptic stitch journals using advertisements from 1920s dental journals for well over a year now and I still love the look of these - the ads, the images, the text. This particular journal has an ad for impression trays on the cover and smaller text ads on the back cover. And it's up on Etsy!: brooklynbookbinder.etsy.com
Fancy high-tech toothbrush for the Macro Mondays group, theme “My Daily Routine.” For my daily routine at least I get to brush my teeth inside my mouth instead of taking them out of a glass by the bed. HMM!

These days about the only swag I get is from the dentist. Every visit nets a "swag bag" with tiny dental items. Area shown is about 50mm. Happy Macro Monday!
A plaster cast of my teeth at 8-1/2 years old. Plaster casts are used to document and monitor the progress of orthodontic treatment. Fortunately, thanks to that treatment, my teeth are no longer crowded and turned like they once were.

Macro Mondays-Single Use
I use floss with a leader, I like how it can go between my teeth. It looks so wide in this photo, but to the naked eye it's very tiny.
After a bit of a health scare on Sunday, Woody is back to his usual playful self - currently chewing his silver vine stick - which is supposed to keep his teeth clean. No idea if its successful, but he does like throwing it around...

Brisbane Dental Hospital and College is a heritage-listed dental hospital on Turbot Street, Brisbane. It was built from 1938 to 1941 by the Queensland Department of Public Works.
After the opening of the UQ Oral Health Centre in 2015, the building is now awaiting being re-purposed.
