The place to be in Platteville Wisconsin. A nice town. A safe town. A friendly town. A little island of normalcy and sanity in a rapidly changing world.
Kingsburg, Ca.
Okay, it's not an especially new one, and it's nothing special, but I just loved the colors and lines. This is straight out of the phone.
Dumbarton
The Peter Denny Statue in Dumbarton is a Category B listed monument on Church Street, commemorating Sir Peter Denny — one of the most important figures in Dumbarton’s shipbuilding history. It stands beside the Municipal Buildings and is formally recognised by Historic Scotland for its cultural significanc.
Peter Denny (1822–1895), was a partner in the world‑famous Denny shipbuilding firm of Dumbarton. He was a leading figure in Denny Brothers, the shipyard that made Dumbarton internationally famous. He was also a pioneer in ship design, testing tanks, and marine engineering. His family's shipyard was a major employer in 19th‑century Dumbarton.
The statue reflects his importance to the town’s industrial heritage.

The 'Strawberry' balloon flown by Denny B. in the 2006 Temecula Valley balloon and wine festival (tvbwf)
2007 tvbwf is coming up June first, but I don't imagine I would have the perfect set of circumstances again like last year's for photo opportunities.

The windmill at the Arcadia Denny's (originally a Van De Kamps) was repaired after many years and restarted back on June 29, 2016. That lasted until December 29, 2017, when the blades fell and partially punctured the roof of the retaurant. Undeterred, new blades were fabricated, this time with LED lights whose colors can be changed by staff in the restaurant. The new blades were attached and restarted on November 30, 2018.
Currently, the blade lights are red, white, and blue.
When I wanted to drink beer in the middle of the night, it is not necessary to be upset even if a bar is not found in the neighborhood. I can drink beer in a diner doing well in Tokyo. The kind of snacks is abundant in this diner.

深夜にビールが飲みたくなった時、周囲にバーが見当たらなくても慌てる必要はありません。 東京では賑わっているダイナーでビールを飲めます。 このダイナーではおつまみの種類が豊富です。

Denny Abbey has a unique and fascinating history, having been occupied at various times by three different monastic orders. Founded in 1159 as a Benedictine monastery, in 1170 it was taken over by the Knights Templars and used as a home for aged and infirm members of the order. After the Templars’ suppression for alleged heresy in 1308, it became a convent of Franciscan nuns known as the Poor Clares. Following the dissolution of the nunnery in 1539 by Henry VIII, it became a farm and was in use until the late 1960s. (English Heritage)
This is a different perspective of Denny Hall, with a beautiful cloud presence and detailed architectural elements.
About my editing methods:
I love the time period from the 1800's and the warm, subdued colors. My editing process is done by creating my own filters in Adobe Photoshop and always shoot RAW.

This is the Denny's Diner at the corner of Western and Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles, Calif.
***Update: This, one of the nicest Denny's I have ever been in-- and I have been in a lot--has been torn down as the real estate value of the property eclipsed the value derived from the restaurant. Too bad, as this was a Koreatown favorite meeting place as well as looking a whole lot better than a high-rise office building.
