Shot at Oniro
I like to make images of my friends while they are dancing at our parties. Often the shots are not too well composed, but the capturing of the moment is a cool, non posed, unexpected second in our precious memories :)
It is also a challenge for me to capture the right moment!
Dena is one of our lovely hostesses at our fun themed parties and a dear old friend.
Dedicated to my friend and co worker Dena, a.k.a. Holyhairchick. She is brand new to Flickr. I told her what an amazing community Flickr is ... wonderful people and photos.
IT WOULD BE REALLY GREAT IF YOU WOULD TAKE A MINUTE TO WELCOME HER !
At last the two turtles Dena and Edna meet
PETER:
It's time for Dena and Edna to meet my dear friend Scout! How are we going to do it, because Dena finds it quite exciting.
SCOUT:
I already know how we're going to do it
You stay where you are Peter, then I'll walk with Edna to you.
I will sit on her back and together we will come to you.
PETER:
What a good idea.
You're so clever Scout, that's why I'm so happy you're my best friend!
Slowly...very slowly Edna walks towards Dena with Scout on her back
And when they see each other, a whole lot of decibels of sound comes out of their mouths.
DENA:'
Ednaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!
EDNA:
Denaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!
PETER:
OMG....my ears hurt
SCOUT:
What did you say???? I couldn't understand you
PETER:
I said my ears hurt from the loud noise my dear friend.
SCOUT:
Sorry Peter...the sound was so loud I was deaf for a moment.
I am glad they are happy to see each other though
PETER:
Not only do they look sweet, but they are also very sweet

Not a shoot, just a candid shot while she was helping Starr with something. The best shots are always the candid shots. It did, however remind me of the Jane Seymore portrait in the movie, Somewhere in time and the fabulous piece of music that accompanied it.

PETER:

DENA:

PETER:
I taught her a lot. She can even find Mummy Marian's magical portal in the garden. I only have to say ‘Find Portal’.
OLEG:
I'd like to see that.
PETER:
Find Portal ........Find Portal!!!!
DENA: (thinks for 5 minutes)
Yyyeeeeeeeeessssssssss
She walks slowly towards the Magical Portal
OLEG:
I can't believe it. She moved 3 centimetres towards the portal!
PETER:
Now she needs to rest for a while before we continue our journey.
FUNKY:
How long are we on our way Peter.
PETER:
I don't know...it doesn't matter. It will be a nice relaxing trip!
Is that a word? It is now.
So, having unearthed the remains of an old house on the island, we decided to do a bit of urban exploration. To add some fun to the afternoon, Dena decided to take off her clothes—with no direction from me, I might add—well, maybe a teeny weeny bit. As luck would have it, I'd taken my camera with me, too! I know, right... shock, horror!
Here is a very tasteful and totally acceptable pic of her taking a hard-earned rest. After that, we had a swim and chilled on the catamaran for a bit.
Then something very strange happened...

Inspired by the certain pop vid of the early 90s when music videos meant something. Here is Dena, once again, classy as ever, slipping into the role like a pro.
Playing around in the studio, checking out the Lumi Pro. I know, better late than never, though, right.... Dena was super impressed with the results, and we parted on the best of terms with only a smidgin of animosity... Oh well, here is the shot; quite pleased with it, really. She looks... sullen.
