DeLuca Farm Pumpkin Patch

A 1940s Oliver Row Crop 60 tractor at the DeLuca Farm Pumpkin Patch on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. I saved a group of pumpkins in one of my photos as a pattern and layered the tractor photo on top.
My third entry into this year's Colossal Castle Contest, this time for the "Shop"-Category.
Here I show you Maria deLuca's Herb Shop. Basically, it's all about herbs, tea, potions and medicine, but you can grab some food at the small bakery as well.
All kinds of plants, herbs and flowers grow all around the shop. The products Mary and her team make of them are highly appreciated by Travellers, Doctors and Warriors.

A totem is a spirit being, sacred object, or symbol that serves as an emblem of a group of people, such as a family, clan, lineage, or tribe.
After Paul DeLuca telling me to get my butt down there, I had no choice but to head out for a quick one day trip to Sioux Falls with DanK.
After visiting the Ellis & Eastern and finding out the Big Reds weren't going to Corson that morning and after a side trip to Luverne to check on a reported move to Worthington, we wound up at Dell Rapids as the Dakota & Iowa rock train was getting his air test.
Now on the move at Renner, the train passes an old elevator and the station sign. SIDE NOTE: the convenience store just east of here has a great butcher shop that we discovered in search of a quick sandwich, I had to buy a cooler to bring home some of the fresh steaks in the display case. So far they've been excellent. You've been warned.

During a visit to Dean & Deluca in Charlotte, NC I *had* to take a shot of these pigs inside the candy counter. This was seriously frowned upon by one of the employees there. After an earnest chat with this woman, I was able to assure her I don't even really cook much, that documenting silly daily stuff is just a hobby, and I swore I wouldn't sell this picture or claim these $22.00 EACH marzipan creations came from my kitchen. She finally relaxed a bit and said.....well, ok. My hands were sweating and I was a little shaky by the time I got up the nerve to take this shot under her watchful eye:) It might have been better if not for the performance anxiety. But how cute are they???
