if there is grace in this world
if there is light on this earth
let us use it
let us see it
starting right now
can we be down with ourselves
respectful and mindful of one, of one another
your significant other
your sister your brother
peace, love, more tolerance
faith hope, trust in the same name of god
peace, love, more tolerance
faith, hope trust in the same god in whose
name we die for, take an innocent life for
thats not what he means
and it doesn't matter what book you read
is there relief up ahead
cos judgement and hearing await
a weight on our minds to bear
a shame on our heads to wear
where is salvation in love
now that we have what we want
now that we have our wars
peace, love, more tolerance
faith, hope trust in the same god in whose
name we die for, take an innocent life for
thats not what he means
and it doesn't matter what book you read
with a little bit of ease and a little bit of calm
acceptance is the key to all we know
what about a stir of compassion and leaneance
what about some understanding
what about some sympathy
peace, love, more tolerance
faith, hope trust in the same god in whose
name we die for, take an innocent life for
thats not what he means
and it doesn't matter what book you read
freedom, kindness, warm deliverance, comfort, mercy
redemption song
redemption song

peace, love, more tolerance
faith, hope trust in the same god in whose

Weather
Rain
Water is the Essence of Life. No living thing can survive very long without it. It is incredibly old. We have the same rain as the ancients did and before their existence. It signifies the power to purify, to give deliverance, and it can also destroy evil and enemies in flood as in the Biblical stories. It is awesome as it is kind. It is benign, it is malignant, for we live or die without it. What a miraculous thing it is, it can engulf you but you cannot hold it in the palm of your hand. It can scold you, it can freeze you, it can inspire and frighten in the very next breath. I will always respect it in its many forms.
These are just a few images of rain observed ……….

No, not the current one. “After the second wave of the Black Death swept through Europe in the 17th century, the survivors burned the bodies, thanked god, and built monumental tributes to their deliverance.” This particular column was erected in Vienna, Austria. “Vienna in 1679 was the perfect place for an epidemic outbreak. The combination of a densely packed population, poor sanitary conditions, and travelers arriving regularly in the city from parts unknown makes the arrival of the plague somewhat unsurprising, but the toll was tremendous. As many as 75,000 people perished and were burned in plague pits in the outskirts of the city, while the imperial family skipped town.
When it was all over, Emperor Leopold I rolled back into town, took some money from the royal coffers and had this monumental celebration of life over death erected - including a not terribly subtle effigy of His Imperial Highness praying for the deliverance of the city.” This plague column was one of several that I saw, but was certainly the grandest and most lavish one. Did we really think another plague would never come? Even with all the medical knowledge and science of today, it seems that we may have taken a step back in time by ignoring the information and lessons of history….
Somewhere on Soaproot Saddle Rd. Fresno County
I had been on this sometimes paved but always narrow and winding road for about an hour at this point. Had not seen a person, a vehicle or a house the entire time. Then this. I thought, if ever there were a foreboding looking place, this was it. My mind went to the movie, "Deliverance." Needless to say, I did not approach.
Spotted in a wooded area on a backroad near Seatonville,IL. I didn't stick around long-the area had an old trailer, falling down old buildings, and a lot of random junk.Along with a nearby barking dog,the whole place had a definite "Deliverance" vibe to it....
Be vigilant and have a great truck Thursday everyone!
Confinement , Jour 17.
J'attends les insectes avec impatience ... certains sont déjà là .
Se relever pour enfin revoir la lumière , c'est ce que nous allons faire et ferons toujours, à l'image de cette petite fleur.
Bonne journée à tous
Song by Paul McCartney.
Out of suffering comes the serious mind; out of salvation, the grateful heart; out of endurance, fortitude; out of deliverance faith. John Ruskin
*happy bokeh wednesday*
Seems like we stuck in a moment between two years full of anxiety and uncertainty. Somewhere in the fields of endless snows of winter. But as Sir Paul McCartney used to sing - we live in hope of deliverance. Spring and warmth will come.
The photo taken on the bank of Vyatka river covered with a high snow.
Thank you for all the comments and faves, my dear friends. Merry Christmas! All the good wishes from snowy Russia.

The Banjo is synonymous with the Mountain people who were usually poor whites living in the Southern United States in Pre War America.
They Inhabited the valleys of the Appalachian Range from Western Virginia to Northern Georgia and Alabama.
I tried to capture the ambience of the clip from the film Deliverance, my Grandson Robert kindly posed using my uncle Rogers Banjo, Our local garden centre (Morleys Nursery) kindly let me use one of their display sheds.
I am elated to say the group chose my image along with Sue Pritchard’s amazing character portrait from St Kits as joint first, we both had 37 votes each for which I am truly grateful.
Wir leben in der Hoffnung auf Befreiung
von der Dunkelheit, die uns umgibt.......
I will always be
Hoping, hoping
You will always be
Holding, holding my heart in your hand
I will understand
I will understand
Someday, one day
You will understand
Always, always from now until then
When it will be right?
I don't know
What it will be like?
I don't know
We live in hope of deliverance
From the darkness that surrounds us
Hope of deliverance
Hope of deliverance
Hope of deliverance
From the darkness that surrounds us
And I wouldn't mind
Knowing, knowing
That you wouldn't mind
Going, going along with my plan
When it will be right?
I don't know
What it will be like?
I don't know
We live in hope of deliverance
From the darkness that surrounds us
Hope of deliverance
Hope of deliverance
Hope of deliverance
From the darkness that surrounds us.......
