When photoshop does something absolutely funky, you have no idea what happened and yet you find it utterly cool.

A very pretty rhododendon that was part of a display at "The Leaf," a major horticultural attraction here in Winnipeg.

An iconic arch of Utah that is 60 feet tall (18 m) located in Arches National Park. The arch is reached by a 3 mile (4.8 km) roundtrip steady uphill trail that climbs 480 feet (146m)

Despite living in the same fountain as the Water Hyacinth, these delicate plants are doing well in the little fountain at the Botanic Garden.
I could not identify the species, but love the effects of light on them, and that's why they are now here for your appreciation.
If someone knows the ID, please let me know.
Thank you all!
October is Breast Cancer Month.
This is a pink tribute to all the people
who suffer from this terrible disease.
Be well my dear friends!
p.p. done with a texture "blur" by Jerry Jones! Thanks Jerry!
Something a little different.
This lioness is seen gently carrying her cub from one resting place to another. To emphasise her against the bushy backdrop I have darkened the background.
Photo taken in the Masai Mara.
Just a few little Cosmos flowers hanging on in the garden. The deep pink bokeh is from the roses which are still going strong though!
Camera is back :))))
Thanks for all the kind comments and faves and have a good weekend everyone :)
Usually flowers give the idea of something delicate, but these little high mountain flowers have been able to survive under the ice, wait for the spring and then bloom in their simple and gentle beauty. Life is strong.
Shot of Delicate Arch in Moab, Utah. The arch opening is 46 feet high and 32 feet wide. I was fortunate to get a few shots without people in the photo, as many people were taking turns posing for shots under the arch. My vacation was too short. I could have spent much more time at that park photographing all the amazing scenery and the night sky!

delicate moments —
… ocean, palm trees, cocktails, sunset, elegance, kisses, dinner, wine, candle light, passion, shadows on walls, moon light in room, music, silhouettes dancing, reality vs. illusions, summer wind moves curtains, gin tonic, chin chin, obsession, stars, hugs, hovering, dreaming awake, soul, love, sunrise …
With All My Love — Peter Pearson
"And I have by me, for my comfort, two strange white flowers - shriveled now, and brown and flat and brittle - to witness that even when mind and strength had gone, gratitude and a mutual tenderness still lived on in the heart of men."
- Author: H.G.Wells
These flowers are not shriveled, brown or brittle... only growing and adding delicacy along my way.
White Geranium
A change in season brings a simpler beauty to the flowers, with muted colours and textures revealed that are overlooked in the warmer weather. Captured in the low light of blue hour in the fields of Princess Point in the Royal Botanical Gardens.
