The famous waterfall Seljalandfoss!!
This is one of the most beautiful in Iceland!!
When the night come you can have a lot of amazing colours through the water!
and she's very interesting because you can turn around the fall by a little path!!
Seljalandsfoss is one of the most famous waterfalls of Iceland.
It is very picturesque and therefore its photo can be found in many books and calendars.
Seljalandsfoss is situated in between Selfoss and Skógafoss at the road crossing of Route 1 (the Ring Road) with the track going into Þórsmörk.
This waterfall of the river Seljalandsá drops 60 metres (200 ft) over the cliffs of the former coastline. It is possible to go behind the waterfall.(Wikipédia)

伏見稲荷大社 (Fushimi Inari Taisha)
From now on, we're no longer in the déjà-vu of the lesser slopes of Inari Mountain (Fushimi-ku, Kyoto-fu, Japan).
The tourists and average visitors have been left behind, at a berm at the top of the first slopes, obediently gathered at the clearing from where they are waiting for a very dull view on Kyoto for the sunset (never understood what the fuss about this, from far, Kyoto is like most japanese major cities : grey concrete cubes lost in the smog).
Here's the trick. Where most of the visitors stopped or started to go back to the valley is actually where the real mystic and splendid part of this gigantic mountain-shrine begins.
Suddenly, after another dark torii alley on the right (while most of the crowds are going to the modern concrete-clad part on the left), the scenery's changing. Great sugi (japanese cedars) replace the little beeches, the torii looks quite older and irregular, with gohei (sacred shinto papers wrapped around big rice-ropes) all around, the air is full of strange noises, light is getting more mystic : this is the semi-hidden essence of this 1400 years old shrine.
I haven't seen any human being for the 3 hours i spent wandering around this part of the mountain.
The shallow depth of field of my f/1.4 lens was the only way i found for trying to depict the fantastic natural mystic feeling floating in the air.

À partir de maintenant, on n'est plus dans les sentiers battus et rebattus de la montagne d'Inari (Fushimi-ku, Kyoto-fu, Japon).
Les touristes et visiteurs peu inspirés ont été laissés derrière, sur le replat en haut des premières séries de pentes, massés avec obéissance dans une sorte de clairière d'où ils attendent une vue bien morne de Kyoto au coucher du soleil - j'ai jamais compris cet engouement, de loin, Kyoto ressemble à la plupart des grandes villes nipponnes : des cubes de béton grisâtres noyés dans le smog...
Voilà le truc. Là où la plupart des visiteurs s'arrêtent est là où commence réellement la splendide partie mystique de cet extraordinaire montagne-sanctuaire.
Soudain, après une autre allée sombre de torii sur la droite (alors que les visiteurs vont en général sur leur gauche, suivant un itinéraire bétonné et moderne), le paysage change. Des sugi (cèdres du Japon) remplacent les petits hêtres, les torii ont l'air plus vieux et irréguliers, ponctués de gohei (papiers pliés shintô magiques, associés à des cordes sacrées en paille de riz), l air résonne de bruits étranges, la lumière filtrant à travers les grands arbres se fait mystique : c'est ici que se sent l'essence à demi-cachée de ce sanctuaire vieux de 1400 ans.
Je n'ai pas vu l'ombre d'un humain durant les trois heures passées à vagabonder dans cette partie de la montagne.
La faible profondeur de champ de mon objectif f/1.4 m'a paru la seule solution disponible pour tenter de décrire visuellement cette mystique naturelle flottant dans l'air.
