This was taken the day after I returned from Borders. The weather was excellent, so made some phone calls and went out to get some pictures. We wander around Kelvingroove Park and took some shots of the park and the people enjoying the lovely sunshine.
It's always nice to have friends who share the same interest. I often travel alone to places in the middle of no where (I like the peace and quiet those places offer). Once when I was in the Karakoram alone, a stranger came to talk to me. We had a lengthy chat and before he left he said to me "happiness is only true when shared". That few simple yet meaningful words printed in my mind forever.
So there you go. Good company, good weather and good fun!

This is a candid shot of my grandmother on Mother's Day. We were barbecuing on the patio and she got up off her rocking chair, walked to the railing and stared at the outside. I'm not sure why she did it but she looked in that direction for about 10 or 15 minutes before she walked back inside. She's been in deep thought before but most of the time she's watching the TV while she's doing itā¦ this was the first time where it was very obvious. Besides, I love this picture since it feels so warm.

The activity in the air (wind, clouds, temperature) excites and stimulates my senses. Felt as if the winds were cleaning out my mind and body. Spring cleaning for the soul. :)

Broken. It is what we all are and tend to stay until we die. We fail to see that being human means it is crucial to be connected. To find parts of ourselves that fit with one another. Yet we stand judgmental of the man who lost his job and eats to cope. We call the woman a slut because of how she chooses to live her life. It is part of life to judge. It is human to judge. I judge. You judge. It is a habit hard to break. It is our drug of choice. It is a drug I struggle with daily because I don't want to be broken. I want to find my piece in another. I want to make not only myself whole, but others whole as well. We are all broken.
