Grizzly Bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) wandering the shoreline of the K'tzim-a-deen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary north of Prince Rupert along the maritime coast of British Columbia, Canada.
It is breeding season and both the males and females are wandering the coast in search of a prospective mate.
The low tide allows the bears to travel along the waters edge whereas during high tide, they may be forced higher into the woods on the steeper terrain.

Grizzly Bear (Ursus arctic horribilis) roaming the shores of the K'tzim-a-deen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary in the Khutzeymateen Inlet along the west coast north of Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada.
The inlet is about a 30 minute flight by float plane, north of Prince Rupert. The tour of 6 wildlife photographers (including myself) was 5 days long and run by Ocean Light II Adventures. We stayed at the entrance of the reserve in a 72 ft sail boat (Ocean Light II) and accessed the reserve daily in a 19 ft Zodiac and spent most of the day looking for grizzly bear activity.

Maybe Deen has the flat upstairs? 172213 approaches the gloom of the Joe Lucas staff car park at Spring Road in Birmingham with 2V22 the 11.19 Whitlock's End to Worcester Shrub Hill service. The two storey derelict concrete monstrosity is all that remains of this once proud company.

Climbing through Deen Tunnel on Tennessee Pass east of Pando, Colorado, on August 1, 1996 is a heavy Southern Pacific coal train. The 242-foot Deen Tunnel, also sometimes called Pando Tunnel, is seen from the former site of the U.S. Army’s Cape Hale in Eagle Park. This view was only made possible because of a February 7, 1989 runaway, in which a car of sulfuric acid derailed and ruptured near milepost 288 just outside Deen Tunnel, causing some environmental damage. This lack of trees where the lead locomotives are located made the shot possible! By the way, the wreck also destroyed D&RGW GP40-2 No. 3108, and D&RGW SD40T-2 Nos. 5402 and 5408. And another side note; Rio Grande’s only three GP60s were acquired as a result of the insurance claim.
