Ted Bafaloukos’ 1978 film Rockers is in many ways the definitive reggae movie. Telling the story of a group of Rasta musicians at the heart of Kingston’s down town reggae scene, it features music and acting roles from some of the biggest artists of the day. Over 4 decades later, some of the original stars of the film have come together to bring the Rockers experience to the Rototom stage. Drummer and lead actor Leroy Horsemouth Wallace, dreadlocked deejay superstar Big Youth, and smooth voiced Rasta singer and environmental activist Kiddus I are joined by the Abyssinians’ Bernard Collins, We The People Band leader Lloyd Parks, and Kushart for a very special ensemble show.

Here we are with a brand new shoot. They are Janina & Deejay on december at Winter Wonderland, a terrific funfair, it has been a great pleasure to shoot in a place like that!

This is another picture for the Hip-Hop album that is to be released next month. The label really liked the shots and asked me to photograph the rest of their roster. So I will be doing 12 bands from Hip-Hop to Rock....so it should be a ton of fun!
