I used unwanted, discontinued wall paper samples, I currently have more of them than IO can handle, any color, texture, patter, thickness, theme, for any occasions, and my racing brain and ideas that come while looking at all these sample books.
I use concrete, costs peanuts, and decoupage type sealer/varnish, that is about $1 per mushroom.
One of the cheapest crafty and artsy stuff you can make. And possibly even sell.
Thanks to my Friend, Sue, I have found something I love doing, besides bazillions of other things, but sticking to this one.

This is where I keep my tape collection and some of my CDs. I decided to cover these chests with papers using decoupage. I'm well chuffed at how they turned out ^_^v
Lately I came back to the decoupage jewelry - these earrings I made few days ago, it relaxed me. It’s delicate work, and it calms me down :)
