Sorting through my late sister-in-law's belongings, I had the hard task of choosing a few decoration items to remember her by.
When I found 2 large Cranes, carved in Buffalo horns, I remembered that her brother, my husband, had a smaller model of the same bird and decided to bring them back home.
What I later found out is that brother and sister had chosen and bought these carvings in different places of the world, at different times, unbeknown to each other !
In this sense, it is doubly a "Family reunion" ! /

Lorsque j'ai remarque ces deux Aigrettes, sculptees a la main dans des cornes de Buffle, je me suis souvenue que son frere, mon mari, en avait une semblable de plus petite taille et j'ai decide de les rapporter chez nous.
Ce que je ne savais pas, c'est que frere et soeur avaient choisi et achete ces objets a differents endroits du monde, a des dates differentes egalement et a l'insu l'un de l'autre !
