Lots of stuff torn apart at one time, lots of stuff not working out and lots of problems to solve 1 1/2 years in. I literally backed off and let it sit in a corner in piles of boxes for six months during this phase to regroup. As my wife was looking around the house for stuff to get rid of and declutter, it was time for Operation Sportster to get moving or I was going to find one day that I had more room suddenly appear in the garage. Hope she doesn't find that 78 CB750 tucked back in the corner....

So lately we have been trying to contemplate whether we want to move into a two bedroom or not and it just hasnt really worked out. We really want to rent a house vs. a two bedroom apartment and its still just too much for us to afford renting one. So we just had to make due with the space and the things we have.

 

There have been two spaces that we have been dying to have in our house. Nathans recording space and my sewing space. This desk used to be set up in our bedroom with another one right next to it and it was just way too big, he never recorded because he always like to do it late at night when Im already asleep and it was just inconvenient.

 

So we hauled everything out of our bedroom and makeshifted this space for all his stuff. I guess I just wont have that nice living room until Im rich some day. It is nice though because it forced us to declutter the rest of the living room so it wouldnt look so crazy. Next big purchase is going to be a new couch and entertainment hutch.

I bought these shelves just before Christmas to hold the gifts I purchased. They work well, they just need to be resorted and reorganized a little bit.
