Debug output of the procedural generated galaxy based on the source image, Yellow dots are Beacons and line are links, red dots system and green dots glades.
The integral counter did not work reliably, so I took it apart and plugged the modules individually into their connectors. The machine will operate without the time counter connected.
The faults were :
Dirty contacts on some of the modules, so that carry form that module to the next didn't occur.
One module was misadjusted and didn't count cleanly
A cracked track on the printer baseboard meaning the lowest 2 data driver boards didn't get the +18V supply. That caused some interesting problems with modules miscounting.
