Three members of my first Mark II plate Tactical Squad. Part of my new loyalist Death Guard legion force.
Test Model for my new Death Guard Legion force. Primarily used to determine whether my planned white paint-scheme would work.
While I was in the HH character piccy taking mode I reshot an earlier model in my progress that had a more poor pic, so here they are again in a bit better detail, I also shot my 4 painted characters together for the first time.

I just painted these three Death Guard Space Marines. Plague Marine with blight launcher, Plague Champion and Plague Marine with boltgun. For those who are not familiar with the Warhammer 40K universe, let me tell you that these figures are only 4cm (1.57”) tall.

2020 was a hard year with all that COVID-19 stuff, but still I've managed to get a PhD and, of course, to make some LEGO models. In January, I turned back to my childhood ideas and made the "super spy" car with hidden weapons, servo arms and even wings. My next creations were dedicated to the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game universe, further developing the storyline of my characters (the Farseer, his friends etc). And, of course, they represent the Aeldari, my favorite race of advanced psychic aliens there. In July, I completed the large Aeldari/Ynnari base which still stands despite constant Chaos assaults, and here I can't resist to show you the interior (and smaller images of 40k miniature-based jetbikes and cannons made for it). And in December, I added the Harlequin Starweaver hover transport, implementing my Hollow Knight-inspired Aeldari Harlequin troupe in LEGO. Oh, and the background - it matches the black and red palettes of most presented MOCs and fits the overall grim darkness of this year. I hope that 2021 will be better for all us, and may Ynnead, the Aeldari God of Rebirth, be with you!
It's New Year Eve, and here is the timeline of MOCs I made based on the science fiction/fantasy universe of Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game. It shows the ongoing evolution of my building skills. The picture is clickable to zoom separate MOCs. I built a lot of different 40k stuff in 2013 and 2014, so here only the best works are given. I also had a break from WH40k in 2015-2017, building MOCs for my gaslamp fantasy universe, and here it's represented by the Great Rift which appeared in WH40k exactly in 2017.
Happy New Year, folks!
Typhus the traveller Herald of Nurgle, is a Chaos Space Marine of the Death Guard legion and since the Heresy he has continued to spread the glory of Nurgle across the galaxy. Leading a contingent of Death Guard of the Plague Fleet from the Terminus Est.
For those of you with long memories you might remember back when I started collecting a 40k Warband I originally was thinking of collecting a Nurgle Death Guard Army, and some of the first models I painted and posted pix of were DG, well I thought id have another bash at Nurgle painting with this latest model Typhus, I wanted him to be a bit gooey and I wanted him to be not overtly green so I played on the original DG colours appropriately Nurgleified lol, Hope you like him.
This is a Deathguard standard marine. Normally carrying the dual-barrel pistol, the marine also carries the add-on to make it a carbine in moments. Only veterans get to carry a secondary, and this guy has decided on the chainblade for his.
Not the best photo edit job I've done, but I think it puts across the compilation feel just right.
I loved to paint this guy and look forward to doing so again soon, so much fun little details to get lost in. i painted him for the Fang competition in 2010, didnt even place but then the other entries were really good (did get my revenge the year after though). i wanted to keep it simple with him so i choose a pre-heresy colourscheme and then just went crazy with the colours within the white. i wanted to differentiate the skin on his leg but not go to far away from the armour so i kept the basic colours but added warmth which was lacking in the armour, to make it look alive.

Calas Typhon hailed from the Death Guard's toxic homeworld of Barbarus. After joining the Death Guard
Mortarion soon favoured Typhon above all others, elevating him to First Captain of the Death Guard Legion. During the time that Typhon was crusading with the Word Bearers Legion he caught a glimpse of what the Space Marines could truly become if they shrugged off the yoke of the Emperor's ambitions, Maybe it was then that Typhon started on the road to his damnation.
