South Buffalo's St Patrick's Day Parade. In the original Irish Neighborhood. it was such a blast! this was my first time going to this parade, it was huge! lasted for about an hour and a half. It was so authentic and comfortable to be there. We went to the Valley Community Center afterword for some corned beef sandwiches and potatoes, and beer of course. There were 3 bagpipe troops in the parade.

My new Favorite Hobby, I never went skiing as a kid, But I picked it up quick, I think skateboarding helped me with balance.

This past weekend I went for my 5th time. We were at Kissing Bridge outside Buffalo NY. Went down a hill called "Moment of Truth" it consists of about 6 big jumps before a steep drop off. Did some other Jumps, and tried a rail, the rail didn't work but the jumps did, I started speeding over them as I got some practice. Big fun. I'm glad I found suck a fun winter activity.

Someone in the crowd said "You're married now, you can put your hand a little lower!" so he did, and she laughed.

I would sport one of these

Buffalo NY - This was really fun, a sunny breezy downtown afternoon. Enjoying my hotdog with some live saxophone around a bustling Lafayette Square. I love Hot Dog Stands, street musicians, and bike-rides downtown.

Why? Because as a photographer I feel like I should have a camera in my pocket at all times. But my 20D doesn't quite fit. Some people feel comfortable taking their professional SLR everywhere, but for me it's too heavy and big, plus if I loose my 20D my business is screwed.

So this is a camera for my pocket, I can take it everywhere, not just special events. Plus it can make 16x20 prints if I need to. The best part is that I can use my professional Flash units and equipment with it, so even indoors and at night I can get great shots.

It's a little powerhouse. I dig it.

There are a few drawbacks, I can live with them but I would have gladly paid more money for the camera if it did come with a few of these features.

It doesn't have RAW, there's no reason for this. All digital captures are RAW. Canon took an extra step to limit this camera by not offering RAW or any uncompressed formats. They should fix this in a firmware update.

No remote trigger. Could have been fun.

ISO gets grainy above 400, can't make quality prints with this much grain.

35mm wide is limiting but good for a compact,

Getting married this weekend!! June 28 2008. Everything is outdoors in the Finger Lakes on her parents land. Hope to have our Quaker Wedding Ceremony under a large tree. Me On a cheap snowboard at the Cabin in the Adirondacks. Nice View of the Mountains in the Background.

There is about 3 feet of snow on the ground up there, makes it easy to slide right over the black raspberry bushes that cover much of this hill.

Photo Taken from the Porch of the Cabin, not a bad view eh?

Nobody thinks this looks odd?
