Speakers from the Arctic, Atlantic and Gulf Coast communities called on President Obama to build on his legacy as a climate champion by keeping the Arctic and Atlantic Oceans out of not just this 5-year plan but all future plans, and to end the treatment of the Gulf coast as a sacrifice zone by halting all new oil and gas leasing in the region.
