Stuff the Chinatown Kid. Sounds like a whole lot to unpack, but he's surprisingly not as huge a pile of racist stereotypes as you'd imagine. He's the sidekick of the original Vigilante (the cowboy one, not the ski goggles one) and is, well, a kid from Chinatown. He knows a bunch of forms of martial arts - because of course he does - and even trained Vigilante in a few of them. He's the sort of character who could be really interesting if an actual Chinese-American reworked him, but as-is is nowhere near DC's most insensitive stereotype, which is pretty unexpected 😅
The legs here actually have a little too much going on with the darker green, but I didn't to sacrifice the boots.
I haven't posted my collection of DC minifigures in a while so here it is. Sorry for the shinyness of some of their faces, the lighting wasn't great and I had to use the flash on my camera. If there are any other DC figs that you would like to see me make just let me know!

The DC Streetcar is a new streetcar line in Washington, DC. The line opened in 2016.
The streetcar's only route is the H/Benning Line which runs for 2.2 miles up and down H and Benning Streets.
Courthouse Metro.
Just processing my DC/NY pics from the few days I was there and will be uploading them soon. Love the architecture of the DC metro and all the space and curves.
I've been passing over this guy for a long time, since he has perhaps the strangest and most iconic face-thingy I've ever seen. I wrote it off as pretty impossible to do justice until I saw stanleyklerk do a pretty stellar rendition of him! I figured I would throw in the two-toned collared cape on mine, and try to bring the solid white bodysuit vibe back in as best I can (what I wouldn't give for a version of this torso without the belt!) but it's all riffing off of the same key elements as Stanley's. I highly encourage checking out his work if you haven't, he's got a lot of really neat designs, especially his New Gods and Legion of Superheroes stuff!
