Another image of an autumn crocus in some gorgeous sunset light, where I just noticed the really nice flare rays back home at my computer. Hope you like it too! :)
The sweet cherish pink color of these Hibiscuses standing in harmony side by side, and expressing their beauty and existence in nature.
Dazzling indeed ! Extreme colour for Mersey Ferry Snowdrop Certainly wouldnt miss her coming at you ! I know it is not liked by some ,but it catches the eye for sure .
Having jumped between Otters and Seals I thought I'd go back to Namibia images for a bit...
We made our way to a well known waterhole in Etosha National Park and could see why it was a popular spot. When we arrived it was being used by a Springbok and Jackals. After a while a herd of Oryx joined in only to be followed by a larger herd of Zebra (also known as a "Dazzle" of Zebra). This photo only shows four of them, but there were at least another 10/12 of them out of shot.

I photographed and posted this gingerbread house last year, but I think its dazzling lights really add nicely to the Christmas season. So, here it is again, photographed at Urbandale’s “Miracle on 86th Street” holiday light show in the Charles Gabus Memorial Tree Park (Urbandale, Iowa).
The gingerbread men are on the other side or front of the house. You can see just a bit of them in the photo. I chose the backside to get a dark background and isolate the house in the photo. There are thousands of other lights on many other decorations directly behind me.

There are hundreds of varieties of daffodils and they are one of the earliest flowers to bloom in Spring.
This is a close up of a backlit bloom which I liked as bicolour frilled trumpet stood out against the white petals

As grey skies and cold wetness take over the winter weather it is nice to remember days of frosty leaves, sunshine and blue skies
Sunrise, Pawley's Island, South Carolina. Sun way up, but who cares when you get the white hot light, too bright for a direct look, washing out the sky, the sea, the air, and spraying dazzle me diamonds as far as you can see.
Glad to be home now, but still buzzing from photographs like this one. Lots more to come ...
